Amen.
What? I didn't quite understand that. Oh, and don't use faggot/gay/homosexual as an insult around me. It just shows you as ignorant and pisses me off.

It's an opinion. But the way people on US express it comes over wrong. Just continue doing whatever you do.

OHHH YOUU.. You say God created this and God created that, but it was mankind that created most of all this bullcrap. We were even so silly to create a God.

Well, opportunities make a thief, or should I say the apple of Eden?

For example, God hasn't spawned a rock in a sky to kill the egyptians in order to free the jews. It was all a chain of natural disasters based on the cause-effect relation, that happened because of God's Will.

Sorry, but does not that prove the exact opposite?

Not really, because we can consider that God has triggered the chain of events. Basically what science does is to prove the existence of events, and then the theists and atheists try to give an interpretation.

You really can't be saying you believe in this?!

Now this is the worst argument anyone could use. Because no matter what we say, you could easily reply by saying God made you say/do that. Get a better argument please.

Well, I was expecting that you would not accept religious arguments to prove the existence of God, so here's another try: how about the fact that there is an extremely small probability that we have appeared on this planet, which is near this Sun, which is at the exact distance from Sun to have water in liquid form, we are not in the neighbourhood of asteroids, comets and other dangerous stuff, we have the Ozone layer that deflects us from the Sun's radiations + other cosmic radiations?

You have to think the opposite as well. Why did God not do it for someone else as it seems our race is a complete failure if you look in the eyes of God. - So God did not create us, we are just bloody lucky is another way to put it.

If we look across history, lots of theories were rejected: the Earth moving/being round, the existence of a speed limit c.

We, as human beings are limited through time, and because we cannot separate time from space because of our inability to reach the speed of light => we are limited through space-time. Our existence is through matter, so for us, everything we see is just a rearrangement of matter. Even when we try to imagine abstract things or anti-matter, we imagine them as being matter (having shape, colour etc). This proves that our mind is limited. How can we possibly understand a superior instance as God?

Interesting how discussions about religion are so controversial.

There is nothing wrong with being a Christian.

Yeah, many of my friends are called "Christian".

But I prefer to be an "Andrew".

No, that is no proof...

And of course you have to define the term "god" at first, before trying to prove it...

So... suggestions?

There are many writings in the Quran/Bible that could of impossibly be known back then, unless a creator was involved.

In the Quran it shows how cosmology, solar systems and galaxies work in fine details.
Things that were only recently confirmed by scientifical observations.

Don't for get the possibility that our ancestors could have been easily influenced by other far more advanced civilizations with tech beyond their level of comprehension.

The people who believe in the ancient alien theory say they would have been ETs but the other possibility is that it could have been another human civilization that annihilated it self. Hell our own civilization has more than enough nukes atm to wipe out all life on earth 100 times over so its not improbably they a race or civilization in the far past could have done just that

Not so far fetched when you actually look at all the archeological evidence too. We already found teh remnants of 2 cities one in Pakistan and the other in India that are 10 thousand + years old "carbon dating C14 is limited to 10,000 years" and apparently were wiped out by nuclear fire. You can go their to this day with a Geiger counter and get abnormally high readings.

My pray is heavy-logic.
God created 1*10^50 tons of primary material (few trillions years ago) and release Big Explosion, which started our world. All the rest was made by evolution.

are idiots. Even if they were travelling at the speed of light, it would take most things that could possibly live multiple millions of years to get here, by which time they should have "evolved", let lone have the guy who said, "HEY, GUYS, LETS INVADE EARTH!"" die of old age.

Just because an idea is farfetched doesn't mean it's impossible.

Thousands of years ago we thought the world was flat.
Just a few hundreds of years ago we thought we knew everything about physics,
but now there is something called quantum mechanics.
You'd be called crazy if you said that one day we would be able to use flying transports to reach any part of the world in just a few hours, and look what we have now; airplanes.

And wasn't Einstein's claim that it is impossible to travel faster than the speed of light recently refuted?

A civilization thousands or millions of years ahead of us would have technology incomprehensable to us.

Not buying into the whole "ancient alien" theory,
I'm just keeping an open mind here.
