Hi,

I was running cs2d on my VM with windows xp,
and it kept saying that i changed my system clock and was speedhacking. I don't know what caused this, my fps was 50.

you are not allowed to change your clock while playing, since that alerts the anti-cheat somehow.

I am unsure how cs2d and the system clock are related however I believe that anything that might affect it's relationship will result in cs2d detecting a speed hack.

Try:
-running cs2d outside of virtual machine, unless you're running macOS in which case you can just use wine or something
-not changing the system time in the virtual machine

I was working on an epic map long ago, back when I had no life. When for some reason I tried to change the system time my cs2d simply closed and everything I was working on was lost. I just feispalmed for 10 minutes straight. That's a true story btw.

weird how speedhack detection is placed everywhere, even in the places where it would be impossible to do so

I don't understand why people keep posting CS2D stuff in the Unreal Software section. There is a CS2D section. Welcome to the forum.

I can't help you with your problem. I don't know why this happens. Try rebooting your VM or just don't use a VM. There are native clients for Win, Linux and Mac.
