I doubt it, games at the scale of Stranded ( 1, 2 or 3 ) take a while to develop. Especially multiplayer, it's not something that can just be finished in an evening of hacking.

What about using the free vesion of unity3D all it takes away is reflective water and some windows and to make reflective water you just need the texture for it and enable mirror effect

I do not use game makers to create my games.

Unity3D IS a sort of game maker, right?

It's the game engine used to make Dead Frontier. Its a pretty decent engine but I don't know if it's free or not.

I use Unity3D but it's hard to manipulate with java scripts ;/ but water in free edition can't be like water! (can't swim)

I also examined Unity3D when I searched for game engines. I hate commercial engines because the free/cheap versions have stupid limitations. They don't want to you make great stuff with the free version - they want you to buy better versions. Also Unity3D doesn't seem to be as flexible as I want it to be. And yeah.. it's commercial with certain license limitations.

So why should I use a commercial engine where I have to pay for the same features that I get for free and as open source with Ogre3D? I've chosen Ogre3D very carefully. I have little to no doubt that it is the best option from all affordable 3D engines out there.

Stranded 3 is a game of my dreams . I hope the new engine will allow you to create great islands. Expect to see an improved intellect of animal and NPCs and of course multiplayer. And very much want to Stranded 3 was also easily modifiable as the Stranded 2.

No, but it's probably possible to somehow convert b3d models to a format that works.

Sure its possible to convert the models, but it would be much easier if stranded III could support b3d models.

Do you plan to use models of the users for stranded III if they agree?
