Hey, actually this has been bugging me for some time but maybe not to some. So the reason here is that players often wear night vision goggles when playing games even though it's all bright and sunny out. Some bright maps like the desert often doesn't need any equipment like the night vision goggles. So I'd like to receive some thoughts about the night vision goggles that are mostly used by the players.

People mostly just buy the nightvision to look cool. I never use the nightvision, not even in dark maps. It's just useless.

In some deathruns and other adventure maps you need nightvision to see an invisible path. That's a good way to use them. But otherwise they are just worthless crap.

Night vision goggles look cool. So what's the problem? Just let them waste their money if they think that they have to buy them. They don't cause any problem or damage.

Yeah, but there's got to be some use to them than just look cool and all. I see most pros wear them. Wouldn't they be useful in zombie maps?

@user Alistaire: Actually both are acceptable.

Pros aren't pros because of the night vision goggles, trust me. You will do just fine without them, it just adds to the whole 'Special Weapons And Tactics' feel - since you see the stereotype spec ops people wear NV goggles on their heads in films.

I was gonna say that
But some people wear them just to look cool. <-...
But then you have Night vision goggles And have Flash light
it makes the Night vision goggles lighter O.O NOT when you use them..

NV googles? Only two things:
• Looks cool, well maybe on certain skins
• Navigating through extremely dark areas in say, co-op maps

they actually decrease contrast, so actually it makes it harder to see things like enemies. (like in real life, if you're in a dark place and you shine a green flashlight right into your own eyes, it doesn't help)

i dont care about looks but i wish that you can take them off after picking them up
well at least there's mp_unbuyable

Thoughts on night vision goggles:

- Improve your English
- Align your text

1) His English is fine, only a few minor mistakes. Most likely typos.
2) His text is readable.

On-topic: People just think they look cool. Besides, the color of the NV goggles light is very nice.
