Better quality, I mean MSI is better than toshiba.

And I'm better than you. Your theory is false, and shall remain false.

@user TheHamzan6:
Asus is shit, Alienware is Apple clone (shitty and expensive). Do not spend your money on that shit, it sucks.
@user J4x:
Toshiba has better performance, sir.
@user Corvallis5:
Go for Toshiba, don't listen to these fools. Word of advice.

I'd still go for MSI. I like their looks better. AND STFU! All I need my laptop for is work, running source games, CS and some RPG titles. So I don't need a really powerful PC.

Well I have a laptop that works pretty cool with games. Can't remember model, but company was California Access

Specs are:
3 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9600
Can't remember proc, but it was dual core and about 3GHz
Screen resolution 1680x1050

I have bought it on a sale without operating system for <3000 PLN (~1000$)

And installed Window 7 Ultimate on it

Sample FPS:
Devil May Cry 4 - resolution 1680x1050, details - highest, antyaliasing x4 - ~60 FPS
Counter-Strike: Source - resolution 1680x1050, other options unchanged - 80 FPS
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - don't know how to check FPS, but runs smoothly even with Winamp, Skype, Chrome and uTorrent in background
Gothic 3 - tested both only Gothic 3 and the extenstion, works with no problems, but only after installing patch

Other samples:
works fine with Chrome, Skype, uTorrent and two VMs in VirtualBox (Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows 7)

When I'll find the manual, I'll give you the model name and more details. Anyway I highly recommend going out of Alienware and Dell - you pay 300% of real price just for a logo. Look for something not well known, check specs, not logos

[EDIT] Specs, not speds. But speeds too

Sorry for asking so many questions, the reason I want a laptop is because I need it for school. But I also want to play games.

One last question:

Which one is better
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-S...DIA+GeForce+GTX+660M

Or

http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satellite-S855-S5268-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/B0088L1A84/ref=sr_1_3?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1343261280&sr=1-3

Don't worry about the price

The 2nd one, since the processor is faster and the gpu's are ~ the same.

Well then take a look at prices of Dell or Asus laptops with the same specs. Nearly the same Dell ones are around 4000 PLN and up.

Very well, but it doesn't mean that you can recommend it, because compared to the Toshiba one and the MSI one it's crap.

i looked at both and the msi is better

it appears the cores they come with are exactly the same

the msi has faster memory reading (stuff loads noticeably faster)

the msi has a better graphics card, though how much better it is is arguable
