Ideas for CS2D - READ THE FIRST POST (OP)!

Agree with Kirito, very good idea about flare in wate. The radius should be reduced a bit in water.
Its already very small, it would be pointless to throw it there anyway.

What about grenades ? Water lowers the impact of everything, it could lower the impact of HE grenade and/or make flashbang to flash player a little bit weaker.
I like the idea. But smoke grenades and flares would work under water almost as good as on the surface (we don't have really deep water in CS2D if we can walk through it).
For HEs and Flashbangs: ~75-90% of total dmg/effect

About smoke grenades I don't know exactly but don't flares work exactly like dynamite (meaning that it can burn underwater too) if so then flare doesn't have to change but ye I agree that ~85% of normal damage when thrown on water could do.
If this was introduced there could be some interesting combinations for new maps making them harder/more tricky.
Meh realism shouldn't be that important in a 2D game. I don't really see how anyone would prefer grenades being less effective in water, in terms of gameplay.

It will force player to use their equipment with a little more brain, instead of throwing molotov at water and watch it burning. That doesn't make any sense!
Yes, that's what I meant.

right kk. it would be werid if molotov still is burning when it hits the water, and also what about for the trees? what if someone throws molotov at the tree and the tree is still alive. the tree should be burning alittle or something And same thing to the flamethrower.

Yeap, try to tip the water on the burning petrol.
Idea with trees is nice, but it´s true that 2D game doesn´t need to be so detailed.

Deep water that slows players down? And that grenade stuff you guys are talking about.
You could farther when scoping using sniper
Example:
----------> X How far I can see without scope

That would only lead to more camping. Bad idea.
As in Subvein? It would be good, but unfair. Actually view distance is fine to me.

Has already been suggested a thousand times. Won't happen for various reasons.
