If we all stop to do our things by saying there are hackers, actually there won't be thing to do. Because every structure which was made by human intelligence can surpass by other humans.

Like I gave an idea a long ago was about adding a few commands which were about changing size and scale of the flashlight light, and you told me same thing; "This can be bad with cheats."

But the flashlight looks really big. If we can't really change it as hackers are being nearby, it is bad.

There will be always hackers who are bad, wicked and poor ones. From the other side, you're telling to ensure security, good. However, before thinking if new idea will cause cheats or not, firstly we need to find a solve for current hackers.

Can we have an option to set callout names for specific areas in the map editor? Like the name of the callout appears under the radar if you're on that area. Helpful if you spotted enemies on a certain spot and you know the callout names.

Garbage collection issues? has written
HandleFromObject could be used to increase reference counting for the used object during instantiation, Lua light userdata is not garbage collected but it still calls it's __gc metamethod, and that can be used to Release the instantiated object every time Lua automatically collects the garbage.

TL;DR: NO PROBLEM!


I could help writing a proper documentation if that's a problem.

At the moment working with Box2D implementation. It has a few disadvantages for multiplayer, might switch to Farseer or Physlite. Farseer looks best and works best with multiplayer, but it is quite slow.

So it's possible to add it into cs2d and scale it as you want?

So in order to rebalance them i just thought, you can add some "breathe-like" shaking when you zoom, i mean like in FPS you have to press a button to hold your breathe(well there wont be one here) but its much harder than some static easy shit... i mean AWP is only 1 shot to kill and you can hide and spam it.

At this moment any player skin consists of two sprites:
* player skin
* leg skin.
So at basic way we can:
Add more layers to player skin - for example we can divide it at 5 layers - head, right arm,left arm,body,right leg,left leg.
In this way we can change layer parameters and so we can use it for non standart animations(using buttons, throwing grenades,winding a silenser, and so on).

• Add command to change parameter of created image without its recreation(means without changing image id and "recreation lag").

• "WALLSHOT" - it means create some entity or wall parameter to make possible to shot through this wall.

• Simple physics simulation:
1 - player can push another player
2 - explosions push nearly players and items
3 - dropped item can push another items at same tile
4 - player shooting at item can push it
and so on.

• And what about "realism" for cs2d?
Something like headshots + sounds of nearby passing bullets + bullets ricochets + properly working silencer + different ammo for different caliber weapons + penetration depends on caliber and bullet power + reloading dropped magazines + fragmentation explosions +
muzzleflashes ?

• Add commands to create entity or edit entities values

How about a "Last Man Standing" gamemode? So, basically, spawnpoint is randomized, and it is just like Deathmatch, BUT, when someone dies, they can't respawn until the next round.

Please make quick-save bind for map. Sometimes you forgot to save your map. But for 5 minutes you may do much entities and etc. And when your cs2d crashes -.- or you click alt-tab(in current version) it really annoying to make it again. Just add it by default F8(changeable), if you already have name of the map and ct,t entities it would not ask you "save?" etc. Why not click "save" button? Sometimes you may miss the button and click "load" and didn't notice that and just load your map w/o save.
