I to, have an old laptop.
So i guess i work around that would be:
Just make sure the game has a low graphics setting.
so..
For normal or average:
Graphics like Unity3D
and then for low settings:
Graphics like S2..

Yea, Stranded will look like a decent game with them.

PS: DC, If you have time, have a look at the demo on the forum, you can have an idea of what my vision of stranded is...

BATTLEKOT: Unity 3D is a game engine so it can't run on your PC hardware but I think game should run

I don't think that DC will use all graphical possibilities... I think if you have atleast 2.4GHz CPU, and 128-256MB video card and 2-4GB RAM, the game should work... Offcourse I don't know what requirments will be for the game..., Maybe it will ask DX10, and 512MB video card, and 2.0x2GHz processor

Well done, you have put up with questions and suggestions and yet your still here and working on the games. (most would have given up long ago) but nuh you didnt so....

For the whole money paying thing...
I reckon make the
...alpha free
... beta is for forum users only
... full-release you have to pay for
although its completely up to you DC.

DC if you work real hard on this and make it have Multi-player and really good graphics and....

This could turn out to be a game very similar to a AAA game.
Fame could be just around to corner.. (although its probably already here)...

I agree with you here and there... i still think people should preorder the alpha version though...
If SIII looked like a weak Farcry 3 then that would be amazing... i recently finished FC3, and there was problems... like the lack of ingrediets and recipes, and the survival aspect of the game is why i bought it... but it ended with heaps of creepy voodoo ritual type things... and ruined it for me... i think you should probably have a crafting system like FC3, and a perk system like FC3 and Skyrim..
