I would like to know your opinions about SourceForge, Google Code and GitHub. Which one is better for you and why? Or maybe you know other sites for projects' developers?

SourceForge is a little more geared to hosting of serious projects IMO, GitHub is more open and I don't know much about Google Code.

I prefer to keep my code on a private git server.

Sorry but we don't support cheating in Online games. URL removed. /ohaz

It was just an example, and if you looked closely the mod was dead. as in, not updated to latest version. But ok.

I like bitbucket. With an academic license, you can create free public and private repositories.

On my work, we used github, Depending on the number of users, a monthly fee has to be payed for a private repository.

You can ofcourse host your own git server if you want..
