Howdy.

When i first played Stranded 2,
I began to think about what could be considered × Cheating.

Why i did this was because
Spoiler >

Afterwards i questioned if i really were meant to just simply do this..

So,
This is the thread where we can debate things that could be or may not be × Cheating.

Torches on Stranded II have a fixed interaction to certain things. They do not just burn everything, they burn or set alight certain objects because DC allowed it to be so.

Therefore, no, it is not cheating or disallowed.

Stranded 2 is an survival game which means that the player has to survive for which he may use any means he finds.

On the adventure map you're talking about destroying the raptor nests is a way to improve your chances to survive.

You could as well break them by beating them up with a tool or weapon but setting them on fire might work just as fine.

The only thing that is to be considered cheating in Stranded 2 is using the debug menu to get yourself stuff or alter certain ingame values.

I agree with user Hurri04. Using the debug menu options is cheating.

Setting stuff on fire to make your life easier is no cheating. It's part of the regular game mechanics and it's clever to do it that way.
