You need to solve captchas for everything you do. Making a thread, making a comment, uploading files, I think sending PMs, too. Pretty much everything.

Btw, instead of creating a thread you could have taken a look at the FAQ.

It's very good to have this mode! It's brilliant, CAPTCHA doesn't work for shit, everyone asks why you have the mode and get banned for off-topic. You are basically God.

I do believe it's harsh to give people idiot mode however I do understand why it's given to a user. It's typically when a user violates the rules excessively and often that's when it happens most likely.

All of the fair users you can feel calm however it won't affect you much more than seeing users with idiot as title. Pretty much the one and only with this title is archmage. I do hope he'll understand that such behavior he showed cannot be tolerated. From what I know that guy has been telling another person to literally delete all of this person's system files. That's not cool and some people don't know alot about what these commands can really do which could cause problems when that person was really looking for some fair help, so obviously those who do these evil deeds will get punished. The punishment itself as far as I know is one CAPTCHA per post for a period of time until DC decides when to remove it. What can we learn from this? simply follow the rules and no one will feel bad.

Users who violate the rules frequently and who do not stop to do so may become idiots. As idiot you have to enter a CAPTCHA code for each action. This is a pretty annoying punishment. The idiot mode might be removed when a user behaves very good for a long time (at least 3 months).

It doesn't mean anything, the only difference is that I have to enter captchas for everything. And it makes me special since I am the only user with this mode.
