Don't blame Steam/Valve for that. It was free initially but kids ruined it. They entered too many stupid crap games. Valve only introduced that fee to stop kids from doing so.

Yeah. Stranded 3 should appear on Greenlight. But not S1 and S2 because their development is already finished and introduce the first two games of Stranded in the Stranded III description.

And I doubt CC will be Greenlit since it has a terrible AI and not much people play it.

Edit: No CS2D. We took the name "Counter-Strike" from Valve/Gooseman without their permission and it's too late to ask since CS2D is already in beta.

To be honest, Valve is pretty cool about fangames and even encourages these, since most of them are awesome.

One fangame even made it onto the TF2 blog twice so I don't see that being a problem. (Also they probably know about this already anyways )

Either way, its not worth trying risk CS2D into steam greenlight, as it is quite likely that if it were attempted into greenlight... DC may get sued... may, not sure....

CS2D on Greenlight = more sh**storms because people will NOT understand the game. And that's the best what can happen
S3 on Greenlight = promotion, fans and love. Hope they'll be better than the average community.

if S3 has a good mutliplayer,it would be greenlit.
(i also would buy it,many others,i think,too)

cs2d..well..much wouldn't buy it WAS free,now not
so veterans would kick ass,and newbies can't learn

Yeah thats true indeed.... Stranded III would work, though some would be male genitals and say its "a minecraft clone"
a be general bitches about it... but dates would back it up.

CS2D is unoriginal in name, and content... it may be built up different but its still a stolen name... however if CS2D doesnt get sued, or complained over it being Counter strike clone- then CS2D would generally be very VERY successful... just look at the readings of CS2D on UN online is crazy... so if it reached greenlight... it'd be even crazier... BTW when i say crazy, i just mean its far more then id expect... its like looking a football stadium for the first time ever as a child, you'd be thinking "everyone in the worlds gotta be here." well in the numbers... i didnt even know there was that many active users...

I have always though about what would happen if DC published a game on greenlight...it definitely would be good publicity but it might 'ruin' the community. If a game is to go it should definitely be Stranded 3.

Just in case, I'm up for donating 100$ to Unreal Software, but only for Stranded III to appear on Steam Greenlight, in case user DC is willing to do so.

If any of these games do ever get greenlit. Hopefuly the wrong people won't notice it. Because we already have a shitton of immature kiddies running around.
