I installed all DirectX components to play cs2d properly, when i open cs2d it said "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"

So now i'm currently playing with OpenGL which is very annoying because everytime i join the start menu my frags drop to 14, and in the servers? Drops until 4.

Can someone help me?

@user xsiN: He means your computer settings like
Processor, RAM, drivers, Operating system, settings etc. etc. Basically all your computer specifications that will tell us more about what kind of computer you own and what it runs.

I'm not really knowledgeable about all this stuff but if you're running windows, try opening "run" then "dxdiag" and screenshot and post everything that's written there.

I hope you are proud of that nonsense insult, that's the best you can do in US. I've been using the computer since i bought it. Duh!

I'm really proud of it. You should too. Potato is a great thing. Being compared to a potato is an honor.

By the way, saying "I've been using the computer since I bought it" doesn't say anything. Here's a very simple question. I've been using my computer ever since I've bought it. How long have I been using my computer?
A) For some time
B) For some time
C) For some time
Time is ticking. Make sure to give the correct answer.

As for your problem, I just told you how to get PC specs, someone else even posted a link to a youtube vid (that I've checked) on how to do it. You really have to be as dense as a potato if you still can't do it.

Yes, I'm ridiculing you. You got to understand that you need help, not us. If you're asking for help, at least be cooperative and react to what we suggest, otherwise: you understand nothing, we can't help you even if we try.

Ding. I sure hope you got it in your head, otherwise we all might just lose hope.

Read previous replies. Twice if you need.

There. I even gave you a big hint on how we can help you solve your problem. You're welcome

Okay, what I'd suggest.

1. Update your graphic drivers (worked for me once!)

All these solutions that may not work or are vague should be ignored. Here's the best solution:

Buy a new PC or laptop.

Seriously. If you're still running XP and it returns this error, you should consider stepping out of the dinosaur age.

Agreed with user Yates.
The long-time solution to problems like this is to buy a new computer. This kind of problem will and probably occur on some games that use DX. A laptop with Windows 7 would be nice.

Edit: @user Yates: I remember Windows 7 using the same kernel on Vista. That's why you said that.

Hahaha no. Why the fuck would someone still want that shit. Windows 7 is an upgraded ball sucker to VISTA. Stop giving crap advice when you have no clue what you are talking about.

Windows 8.1 at least. Or wait a little longer and go for Windows 10 (make sure you get the pro version you'll have more control over crappy updates than home version).

Ooorrrr.. Get something running Linux.
