Using XP on a dino laptop. CS2D works like a charm. Come at me, scrubs.

But yeah, get a new computer. Also, try to learn more about the operating system you are using. If you don't even know what "run" means, then I'm surprised you are even able to use a web browser.

@user Yates: Since you can upgrade from 7 to 10 for free in the first year, it would be cheaper.

You do need a 3D graphics card for CS2D as well.

No graphics card right here. Please stop. These things can be integrated into the processor, you know.

Yes. And it was and still is the best windows they will ever release. Your PC just sucks (no offence).

Your problem will still occur. You can't simply jump up two new versions with higher needs from your PC and expect it to work. Good luck with that. It probably won't even install.

I'm giving you the best advice here. So I don't care if you want it or not.

Pretty sure that's only allowed if you reserve it before June the 26th. He would be skipping 3 or 4 windows versions. I bet if he does reserve it it would be denied to install anyway. He would also need a registered windows 7 key which hasn't been used before, otherwise he won't be able to get it for free. And even then, upgrading from windows 10 home version to pro will cost around 80 Euro's.

@user Yates: Haha. Well of course it's the best course of action. Something broken? Replace with a new/better one. Takes genius to give such a suggestion which is obviously the best one however most of us are below 18 without a job and wealthy parents and thus we adapt and suggest according to peasant logic.

Or... if your school/college/university/whatever gives you access to DreamSpark, you can get all the Microsoft's software for free, fully legal, too. My school gives me access to that so I'm lucky, that might be the case for you too.
