Greetings!

I am posting to see if someone is willing to make me sprites of Star Wars Stormtroopers and/or clone troopers, in the style of CS2D?

If you're interested please comment below or PM me.

Cheers,

Perhaps you do not know about specifics of a top down -
Excluding lighting more distant objects to elements of human consciousness are perceived as darker and smaller, and more close to us seem brighter and more.
With this type of view size for hands are seen as more smaller and darker than head and shoulders and so legs even darker and less than hands.

Standard sprite ugly, but you got used to consider it properly.

Compare it with 3d skin from CS1.6

So standard skins(of weapons and players) are have size with incorrect scale relative to each other, so when I'm creating my skins, I use a comparison scale that 32 pixels = ~ 0.96 real meter, so even if they're supposed to be like that, it just doesn't fit well with CS2D visuals - so that is reason why I'm doing my graphic pack in form that corresponds to actual(real) size.

More than this - in this real photo, you can see how "thick" look real hands of special forces soldiers in flak jackets.

So I think that my skin looks more than correct.

My question for making a gfx in general is how to shade. What tool can be used to make it look in depth like Alistaire's skins? Is it the spray paint button in MS paint or paint.net or what?
