Thank you all, it's not tough.
By the way, we got some people living here who aren't muslims and do ramadan because it haves alot of benefits.

@user Xirot: Same here in germany. Even my girlfriend takes part tho she's a christian. I don't as I don't even believe in any religions.

@user _oops:
They say it's healthy for your body.
It kills any Form of growing cancer in your body.
It will save you from punishment at doomsday.
When you die it will be "a good point?" for you in your grave
The month opens the doors to the paradise and closes the hell ones.
The good thing you do will be multiplied by 700 compared to thebad things you've done.
You're Training yourself.
The Satans are put in chains.
You do it like the previous prophetes Jesus, Moses or Abraham.
You'll have a free wish that's not going to be rejected when you break fasting(?)
You'll be written down as someone that's fasting by the angels
You're fullfilling the duty to your creator.
One day of fasting removes your face for 70 years from hellfire when doomsday comes.

That's what I've read in german. I'm sorry if I did any mistakes. I don't know anything at all about it.

As an Atheist I dont really believe in almost everything up there. But I do respect if people do as long they don't annoy me with "hurr durr you're going to hell hurr durr" or dont say that they're something better now.

Rember guys, during the fast you cant argue or get mad about something, you have to be good with your parents and siblings
Also, its not all about laying down for all day, you have to do good things as well. Reading Quran (if you can) is also highly recommended.

You said the benefits nearly all.

And as user Black Wolf: said ramadan it's not just stop eating and drinking people have to stop doing such bad things like lying, being violet,offensive..etc) otherwise your day will be rejected like you did nothing

Fasting has health benefits, but you have to do it correctly, most people do it the wrong way when they break their fast they eat too much at once, there is the habit of serving too much of different dishes and desserts at Iftar (breakfast), some people end up eating more food in ramadan than they do in other months.

@user Infinite Rain: No i mean the day european zionist jews like yourself claimed Palestine their land because once upon a time thousands of years ago their 'ancestors' ruled the land(after the original inhabitants 'the Canaanites'). Palestine which had muslims christians and jews living in together, you took it from the Palestinians not the muslims, meanwhile in 636 A.D the muslims took it from the Romans not the jews.

@user Chingy: I agree, I'm sick of this, it's offtopic and it probably won't change anyone's opinion anyway.

The romans conquered Judea (a Jewish kingdom, who would've thought...) around 70BC (Or around 700 years before the islamic calendar started).

One thing that makes me wonder is that birthday threads arent allowed and get vlosed imediately. Merry christmas threads are treated the same way. But this thread is like totally different and completely okay.

@user Chingy: As far as I'm aware, Christmas threads aren'ts treated the same way as birthday threads.

Think of it this way:
Happy birthday, Chingy! - A thread focussing on one person and not important enough. You don't discuss anything there anyways. It's just "Happy birthday bla bla bla"

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years! - A thread focussing on two occasions (or the advent period if you prefer) that multiple people celebrate and participate in. Discussions usually involve what presents you're getting and what are your new year resolutions. There's casual "Merry Christmas bla bla bla" but it's not JUST that. Mainly applies to people who believe in Christ.

Ramadan Kareem - Also an occasion but muslims celebrate it.
As far as I'm concerned both are on equal terms. A quick search yielded me a couple threads about Christmas that weren't closed.

Now, I appreciate you questioning these things but it's okay what the rest are doing and you no longer have to debate it (It's not the topic of thread and will be considered off-topic in the future).
