Hello, I thought you guys need to see any work in this mod, so I made a something new. I don't know, if someone remember a special menu for my previous project, Last Light. And yeah, here is a another menu for this mod;

The inscription "Dedective" must have a different color and a correct shade with a height difference - and i think it can look like these: IMG:https://s06.radikal.ru/i179/1607/8f/317b600bda46.png

Try to improve scaling of sprites in relation to each other. Static shadows badly combined with dynamic shadows of day and night. Dynamic shadows are not designed for not squared roofs. And lampposts, signboards, a barrel of fire, bottle and so on, should have a shadow too. Add more vehicles and pedestrians passing this place.

With my amazing(sick) english, I got failed while I finding a name for this mod. "Dedective", It should be "Detective". Also thank you user GeoB99 for edit the title for me. But I got another idea, Let's call this mod "Dedective" because It also puts some mystery to mod and looks more good than other one and I don't want to turn back and edit titles where I said "Dedective". In other words, "Dedective" let's make It private name for this mod. Thank you for this wonderful idea, user BcY.

As long as the story ends with a dead (ded) detective then everyone can sleep well knowing the title has an actually meaning

Or maybe it is a goal? You have to finish the mod and the title will be changed for you everywhere(in the mod, in us.de, youtube videos).. aka surprise madafaka.

In fact, doesn't matter to add so much realistic shadows in the "menu theme".. Just add some life.. For example you can add some guys near the firing barrel.. they anyway stay there for all the time :d
/oh i watched it one more time and notice that the thing sprite is under things shadow sprite:

@user Mora: ~55%, 2 or 1 more episode and it's done. If you thinking how single episode can contain %45 of the game, then I can only say, It will be big map.
@user Yates: Unfortunately, you failed. End of the story completely different than yours. Oh, man. Don't you have any thoughts about menu theme?
@user Pagyra: Thank you so much. If video would contain the in-game maps then I appreciate what you suggested to me, but since it's only menu theme video, I found it unnecessary, but again thank you so much.

The mod certainly looks good! I wonder how much patience you got for working on a mod this big (at least it seems to be big). Anyways, about the logos pagyra posted, I think they really look good but I also think that they do not fit the game theme at all...

@user _Yank: Oh thank you so much. About user Pagyra's logos, what you said is definitely true, because of that I won't use them. About the patience, as far as I can tell, I'm getting fun from making anything in CS2D. Thank you again, seeing comments like yours, gives me some passions.

Those images are not logos - it is only my variation... inspiration for text "Dedective" in menu.

There is a no reason for why I would to do them. Why the white colour is bad to need to change it? Also it has already good shade. I mean, looks very nice at all. I did not see the point exactly.
