Here we go. Simple work dividing, which is perfect in improving different projects like CS2D and Strand. DC, you must do decisive steps, you have no way (ofc in case if you need admission of your projects). CS2D have many advantages. All we need is progress in graphical and technical options. Some graphical add ons and matchmaking system. I wish we will see CS2D in future with big community and big ponetial.

Only tree bug is legit. Other ones is just right, because each time you apply server settings it set all default stuff.

I just wanted to say, that somehow i think cs2d always wanted to be in between 5-10 mb.

There's no point in doing that anymore since it could be 100 mb and no one would care.
So im fine with 13 mb :d

---After testing it:

-This new camera has coding problems:

with Mark own player, with spectating etc.

Even if it would be disgusting to have it as default
IT can promote some new gamemodes or different fun events. so keep it.


-Recoil is better but its fucked up with scope weapons, they have perfect recoil even if no scope. so the best weapon is sg...(idk the rest of it) its around 4300$

30 dmg without scope and perfect recoil... in 4 shots its fucks you up


Even if you decided to do it (that weapons stand upper than the 3d walls) ITS Counter intuitive, it seems like you would be able to shoot over the wall, when you cant.

And there's bad lightning adaptation to the old maps with 3D WALLs, i mean, where its dark, you put 3Dwalls and they are completely bright.. but i guess it would be necessary to make the map again.

Btw, i loved the crosshair modifications, its good to "make your own"

@user DC: Have to change "Counter-Strike 2D" to "CS2D" in help/index.txt

Btw, the camera need a setting for the delay/acceleration movement, I hate acceleration.

1. You can hear too far with this new camera just putting your crosshair far away.
2. You are able to see grenade explosions (HE, Flashbang AND Smoke) with sv_fow 3 (Hide Everything).

Keep in mind that the camera might not be in game, so we didn't do any additions to that, and might not.

Idk if I can call unrealsoftware the next valve v2, people don't ask for new camera look but you guys think is better to add this feature instead of the demo thing (or another good ones). The 4:3 resolution was good, forcing people to use 16:9 instead of giving a good alternative like 2 options to choose (just like in another games).

Kinda sad to see the game dying slowly after many years of playing.

I use 4:3 for advantage proposes not for being cool. I've explained on another post, the devs pretend to ignore and just add only 16:9 for everyone ( I don't have nothing against people who love to use 16:9, just give a chance for everyone choose between 4:3 or 16:9 ).

Yes the game is kinda "dead", just in one week the servers I've saw full or with some players are from iran town and doghouse.

I was working on it, but it would be just too much of work to do that 100% working for 1.0.0.3. And after that kind of responses not sure if I'll do 1.0.0.4 anyway.

@user slimK: If the camera thing will ever be added then only as an optional thing which is disabled by default. Seeing that there still seem to be technical problems with it it is actually extremely unlikely that it will be in 1.0.0.3 at all.

Also for 16:9: This has been discussed a lot already. The resolution has not been changed to be "cool", it has been changed because the vast majority of people has a 16:9 resolution screen so it's simply better. We hear your opinion about it but the point is that it is impossible to fulfill everybody's wishes because often they are conflicting. And of course a fallback 640x480 option would be very disadvantageous for everybody using it due to limited sight.

p.s.: If CS2D is so dead, why do you even bother to post here?

thats not dead...if you knew the meaning of dead then thats not something to compare to a server 'full' of alive players.

Ok back to topic:
1 - Knife have dispersion at range

2 - Range of throwing a grenade remained same.

3 - Weapons with an optical sight still introduce an imbalance with increased damage in zoom mode(but it havent this function).
4 - Availability of buying weapons is still different from original game
5 - Bullet dispersion is bigger than size of pointer

6 - Recoil of weapons of all calibers is same
7 - Position of weapon while wiggle varies but it does not change cursor position, but while shooting it don't varies to bullet dispersion angle.
