you can name it anything you want.
I wouldn't use 'software', your name, or anything like that in it. Just take a look at 'steam', 'running with scissors', 'amazon', ...
so the name doesn't even have to be associated to the product

what about:

mad/lonely/transient hitchhiker
rich dust
flying ark
mole and vole

or leave the US acronym but instead of unreal use:
urban, uncommon, uptown, used, .. or something

edit: I like weird pals too, you could use the singular if you want to be associated with a one man studio

or just stick with unrealsoftware, who cares about the developer name?

He obviously does not understand how much it cost to make these kind of projects. DC paid entry for the Greenlight title that is a free to play game without any transactions. People really does not understand how much effort DC put recently. I would say year ago all activity was really shitty comparing to what is going right now.

Im really excited about future UnrealSoftware prospects, so while i love the old name, im just happy to see DC finally hitting it big in the indie scene, only took you like 15 years

@ Jawohl: It is not helpful to repeat the stuff that I explicitly declined already (like things with my name, weird pals, ...).

I also said that names which are related to one specific project (like Stranded or CS2D) are bad as well because Unreal Software works on more than one project and will hopefully work on other new projects in future.

DC, there is no any ideas you liked atm?
