Just wanted to say, thank you for doing what you do and keeping the game progressing.

I look forward to checking out the new version when it's available for Linux.

The differences between the first release and this version is too much, keep up the good work.

I came across a new bug.

When I start a server and activate recoil influences accuracy while the server is running, you can suddently fire weapons faster but accuracy isn´t changing.

Server is now using 2 weapon config files, if you are changing recoil in-game, at the moment new recoil file is not updated, server restart is needed. I think I should disallow changing recoil in-game.

Also about OpenGL issue with options. Try not using bat files, you can change resolution and window mode in options. I'll fix issue with bat file though.

@user Hajt: This should already be the case. The hook is triggered when the server sent all data to the client and then triggers the hook. Actual receiving might take longer but from that point on the client is already considered "fully connected" and will receive all actions which happen on the server.

In general this is not a pre-release related thing. If you have problems with this behavior please make a thread and explain it in detail.

Thanks for the clarification. However I would add additional packet when the client is in-game mode then the hook should be triggered. In this way we could do a lot of things like kick, ban, makect etc. player directly in join hook without any problems.

Also I noticed some bugs(?) in this version:
• Sometimes when I start recording in OBS I got an error https://i.hizliresim.com/ERO1jv.png
• I can paste max 28 characters in say box that's weird but it's not a big deal since anyways I can type manually all 35 characters.
• Advanced minimap. I don't see players when I'm spectator and specmode is set to own team only

BTW Please add freelock for spectators in "own team only" mode, we won't annoy you with the new spectator mode anymore:)

@user Hajt: free look in "own team only" mode would ruin the idea behind own team only which is that you see your own team only. If you would be able to move around freely you could see more than your own team. Especially if fog of war is disabled.

Yeah I know but freelock would be available only if player is in team spectators. Freelock wouldn't be accessible for ct/t:)

Even now you can go spectator and see where everyone is on the map. Anyway it shouldn't be a problem since we can lock teams or add punishes for players who switch teams during mixmatch.

So? What's your point?

Or we can keep it how it currently is in the pre-release by preventing it all together. Then it turns from "shouldn't be a problem" to no problem.

The point is that nothing would be changed except freelock.

Players who want to record/stream matches needs this feature. If I remember correctly in 2009(?) specators had freelock in own team only mode. Why this was changed?

Why didn't you start with this as your first argument? This is indeed a problem.

No one can read minds, be very specific when it comes to arguments against implemented features. Features are implemented for a reason and need valid reasons against them for it to change.

This was addressed before and DC said he will do something about it as I remember. You would be able to free-lock only for spectators.

Hey, i realised that-its probably not a bug or something but let me try my luck- most importantly ak/m4 and also probably every other weapon aswell feels different and not comfortable with respect to slow (m4/ak/other weapons) fire rate/animation/feel, even tho knowing that any weapon fire rate isnt changed. Got any idea how we can fix that feel of shooting slower to how it was before, or whether or not we can fix that, or we just gotta adapt that aswell just like we adapted new resolution? Thx.

The feature is called "free look". And you already PMed me about that, user Hajt. Please stop repeating your request 100 times everywhere. It's quite annoying and doesn't make me do it quicker. I'm aware that you want that feature.

@user Lord: Might be related to the change of the FPS rate. I don't know how exactly user SQ handled it but if done correctly without altering fire rates it would still mean that the fire rates would change slightly due to the low FPS "resolution". These differences should be ultra tiny though (like a few ms). It should be quite hard to notice any difference.
