UPDATE:
Okay, I found it finally. I have to either use my mouse wheel or press the number 0 on my keyboard. Then he empties his hand. I could have sworn I did that, but maybe not. I was sort of madly pressing buttons. I had thought I hit each one and tried the wheel, but I guess not.

Original:
So, I just looked at this game, as well as the original Stranded. It took me a bit to figure out the first one, but I finally figured it out and got a hut built. I presume that's the basis of the game, searching and figuring what can be combined, and then figuring what can be built with it.

I may go back to the original just to explore it more, but I think 2 looks way better.

Upon looking at 2, I was suddenly perplexed as to why 3 was never finished. 2 looks quite good. I mean the graphics are MS DOS-level dated, but just at this first glance, it looks like the content is going to prove quite good.

However, I've run into a problem. I've just started, I punched a turtle to death and ate it. Then, I started looking at how I could build stuff, and I put something in my hand. Now, I want to punch this tree that has some eggs so that maybe they'll fall, but it keeps thinking I want to use what's in my hand.

I'm trying to figure out how to empty my hand so that I can punch again, but I don't see anything that will let go of the object. When I drop the object, it stays in my hand with a 0. So, I'm not sure what to do.

So, how do I remove something from my hand so that it's empty again?

Yep, you already figured it out: mouse wheel or 0 numeric key.

Because I'm more busy now (job) then I was when developing part 1 and 2 (school). Stranded III is still under active development though: www.stranded3.com
