Hello there

I would like to make a brief introduction for our community on www.cs2d.tk.

Who are we?
We are CS2D players who have organised a platform where we promote competitive CS2D gaming. When I say "competitive" I mean that we try to master the classic CS2D gameplay without many fancy scripts interfering, using standard game settings. We let players and teams compete against each other, so that they can find out who the best is.

What is the history behind us?
After the downfall of the most recent and long-lasting CS2D community called "PCS", there have emerged some new communities, one of which is ours. Most of our playerbase consists of European players and players close to our servers in Europe. We have players from different European countries such as Germany, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine or Hungary; players from African/Mid-East countries such as Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, yes and even from Jordan in our community. We also have American players from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil or Chile, who shared the same time and experience with us together in the former CS2D communities.

What do we do?
As mentioned above, we organise various competitions such as 1vs1 tournaments, 2vs2 tournaments or daily 5vs5 mixteam games with two more or less random teams in our servers. We are constantly thinking of new tournaments to organise.

We maintain a Forum, a Discord Server, Gaming Servers and even a TeamSpeak 3 Server. We also try to maintain good relations to other CS2D communities. You can also find us represented on Facebook.

What do we want?
Basically, we want to expand in activity and in number of players. That is why I post this introduction topic. Depending on the time of the year, we have more or less people around and it does make our hearts bleed to see the decrease of activity going on for years. We invite new players to check our community out and to meet us.

You will find people from various backgrounds in our community. Some of us are students, workers, game-addicts, trolls, people who played the game for more than 10 years, weirdos, passionate CS2D players, mappers, scripters, poets or just random players you meet in any other game. You will find any type of guy around and you'll be able to make some CS2D friends if you want to. If you want, you may even find a CS2D clan that is ready to recruit you and you may have a unique gaming experience and learn from and about CS2D clans all over the last decade.

Who are we looking for?
As mentioned above, most of our players come from Europe, but we welcome players from all over the world to meet us. If you prefer to be around an American community, we will re-address you to their platforms where you might meet people closer to your location, possibly speaking a latin-american language.

What can you expect from us in the future?
Depending on our activity, we will offer more or less tournaments. One will be introduced on unrealsoftware very soon and it will be made especialy for players who have no relations to competitive gaming communities or who are less skilled and maybe even completely new to the game.

What you can do now already, is to play mixteams with us. We meet daily in our server "CS2D.TK | Mixteam/Match [FR]" where we play many 5vs5 mixteams. The password for our server is "match". Two captains choose a team and if you are chosen, you can play with us. If not, you can spectate a match and you might be chosen in the next one! All of our mixteam data are collected and at the end of each month we publish mixteam rankings. You can find all information on our forum, which requires a simple registration.

Make yourself a picture of what decent and classic CS2D gameplay looks like!

I personally have no interest in competitive/clans/mixes/that kind of stuff but I gotta say the servers page on the website is pretty well done.

Hey all

Thanks for your feedback. I really hope we get some more people to visit us. Our community is relatively active these days, with around 30 registered users per day.

Doesn't look any different from a mix, mostly just normal gamemodes.
Not very interesting to play all the time, maybe add up some mods.
Why did u revive the game again?

Hello everyone, as said earlier, we announce our "Starter Cup 2020" right here. I do not want to create an extra topic, because it seems that people are not much into our scene. However if you are, you can visit us in the forum and register for the cup.

Starter Cup 2020
- only new and less skilled players will be accepted
- you will be put in 1vs1 brackets
- you play on one map 12 rounds per half
- the winner proceeds to the next stage
- achieving rank 1,2 or 3 will get you listed in our winner list

If anyone is interested in playing the Starter Cup 2020, organised by our community, please register in our forum: www.cs2d.tk

This shall be the last notice refering to our community this year on unrealsoftware. We hope to see some of you guys. Take care.

I don't recommend joining this community, The whole community is toxic, behaves rigidly/harshly, and not fairly.

the main problem is that the community is playing mixes with their own "GANG". I dont really understand why they advertesing for mixes and joining their community while they play by their own.

Hey The kennyS, there are certainly toxic people around everywhere, but most of our community's members are open-minded to outsiders of the community. You just have to confront them in a friendly manner and you will be responded equally. Maybe you've come across the wrong guy at some point. But not everyone is toxic, I can guarantee you that.

Hey shurKan16, yeah this is a problem that occurs sometimes. Very often, the same players will play in the mixteam, this is because people pick the best players all the time, it's a rational choice problem. However, given the recent activity, we manage to have 2 mixteams played simultaneously in different servers, and in one of them we see many new players participating from time to time, you can give it a try!

@user saint-: Open-minded, Really? If I tell the fact this community is full of ignorant people including Hajt the drug guy. When I was talking to him at nights (hes on drugs) he was always insulting me and abusing his powers on me, I had to talk with him at mornings because he was not on drugs at all.

Hello everyone, it's been over half a year now since I opened this topic and around a year since we reorganised our community. I do not want to create an extra topic, so I will keep you updated here.

Activity
We have succeeded in raising the activity in our community. Our forum has over 250 users, 600 topics and 4800 posts. We have daily mixteams (5n5 matches) played in our password covered server "CS2D.TK | Mix/Match" (password: match). Over 100 matches are played per month, usually in the evenings and weekends.

CS2D Tournaments
We have also succeeded in carrying out tournaments for CS2D. By the end of this year, we will have 9-10 tournaments played. Most of the tournaments were designed for 1n1 competitions, while 2 were also for 2n2 competitions. We have various tournaments to offer, for competitive gaming and for fun gaming.

> Our more competitive tournaments take standard game settings and classic maps, such as de_dust, cs_office, de_desert, etc.
> Our fun tournaments should include Shotgun, Laser, Knife, Aim or even Sniper matches!

Tournament registrations are announced in our discord server, while you can sign up for the tournaments in our forum.

What we are looking for
Even if the initial idea was to bring back activity in the competitive CS2D scene, we are looking also for new members who are interested in our fun cups. You can easily find us on www.cs2d.tk, get an impression and maybe sign up for a tournament or stick around our community.

What our main weakness is
We have experienced a big drawback when it comes to American players. There seem to be new communities particularly for American players now, too. In any case, we encourage American players to visit us or to concentrate on other American CS2D communities. Getting an American server for gaming is in discussion now in our community aswell and the more players demand it, the more likely we will get one server from America.

Playerbase
Apart from that, we have players from many countries of Europe and Middle East/North African regions. German, Polish, Russian and Turkish players are the vast majority, but you also find players from Tunis, Algeria, Switzerland, France, The Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan or Ukraine in our community! Get yourself and impression and find a fellow country mate maybe!

A community as CS2D.tk just made the game players leave the game so it was the cause of the recent CS2D competitive scene downfall. I'm here not blaming Hajt or Steru at all most things that Hajt has done for the community were great, He created a pretty good website and script, and Steru for hosting good CS2D servers. But I'd blame Hajt only for promoting such a bad person as Saint. I'm not telling that Saint isn't a chill person or something but he lacks administration, he isn't professional at managing, recruiting, making decisions, and other stuff. From the beginning of the community, Saint was the one who created decisions, judgments, rules, and was the one who was recruiting. For example, If we right now take a look at their community we'll literally be mad in a few days because of the staff members, shitposters, toxic players, cheaters, et cetera. Almost all the staff members are abusing their powers and are hackers but Saint has done nothing against them and kept them on their way without giving a shit. Even when CS2D.tk members complain, Saint ignores them. But in some cases, Saint bans the members without having decent evidence even. At the moment nearly 25% of the community players are cheating.

Even when you give them some ideas they will either ban or insult you because they are either jealous of you or with their 2-digit IQ It's a bad idea when in reality it's not.
