Hello, it's been a long time folks.
Well, for those who doesn't know me

My main goal creating this thread is making the game/community active again just like in the good old times. I had so much from CS2D when I was a kid (I remember every single moment mapping and collaborating with my team friends to make good servers and stuffs..mehh) so yeah if you guys have any idea/suggestions any needs to make this work again I'll be always ready just tell me what's missing, all serious ideas are welcomed and I'll be happy if I find someone who would help too..

I hope this works with our efforts (including DC).

Making new CS2D community isn't that hard. Bringing active users is hard. Nowadays ~20 players online in-game at the one time.

I'm also an old folks here since 2011. I think it's possible to bring back the game to its glory days by creating server that most people think impossible. If you have ideas and need a scripter, hit me up in UnrealSoftware Discord (don't PM here please). 9 years of experience in Lua and programming in general is gonna help alot to create something that push CS2D into its limit.

Boost the game? I will tell you

Weekly updates, skins and lootboxes, competitive play and ranks

Why I think so? Brain/OUT game which is similair to c2d a bit has a lot more players playing according to SteamCharts stats

But DC, neither Simon do not have any time for that
Pray for Simon to make CS2d 2, that`s all you got now

Sounds very interesting and not really hard to do.

@ MikuAuahDark: I can host servers for free, make giveaways maybe I used to be a mapper too haha

@ Gaios: It would be nice if those 20 players gets in collected all time (as a start) in one server and it will be the point of getting back our players (but all of this recommends big game updates from Dc, gajos and maybe Mik too and Im pretty sure that there are more players who would help

oh every day there have 100 ~ 200 Chinese Players in my server (CS2DCN.com server）
So I dont think this game is dead.

If possible,I hope DC or SQ can build change vision API for us.
I really want build a lua for RPG game mods.But This problem is how to change vision smooth.

as friend Toby did, we have to strengthen the communities, we all started playing with people around us and sooner or later we met people from other countries, think that there are many boys and girls who do not speak English because they are children or because they do not know and they leave because they have no one to talk to(one of the many reasons). I am working to grow the community of my country also in the game I work to make a mod of Killing Floor game, I am using a mod that was uploaded to this page but it needs modifications that at the moment I am not able to do but im good doing the monters skins. I have nothing more to say

Don't want to advertise www.cs2d.tk again here, but our community peaked in 60 registered users daily in the forum over the past few days. We have some tournaments going on and some are planned.

We are probably the closest to competitive gaming in CS2D, but we struggle with cheats being spread among our users that are hard to detect. It's our biggest problem these days.

One other thing that I realise is, it is very hard to bring players into public servers. Public servers are just empty if they have standard game settings. Some fancy scripts could help out maybe, but in the long run, standard game seems just not attractive anymore as it used to be.

Skins and lootboxes and stuff could push the game for sure, but who has time to make that all and is it worth it? Maybe yes.

Ranked gaming would need unbiased serverhosters. Most reliable would be DC probably.

For the past week I played on standard servers with 10-20 people on them every day, at pretty much random times, so you can't say that public servers are empty at all - and there's always at least one similarly full rpg server around.

CS2D Rework projet is moving, the works has already started we will be modding this game. We got new dudes and we are all working on it we still need your contribution so join Discord folks. (link in signature)
