@user Sparty: Sure thing, yes.
btw: Surviving years with the worst troll and spam kids made me 100% unpissoffable. People here trained me to develop the ability to entirely ignore everything. Thank you

@user MikuAuahDark: Very glad to hear that.

Who needs meditation and anger management classes when you can be the admin to a forum which from time to time attracts trolls and spam kids?

It's all fun and games until some random ass 20 year old begs you and some other dude on unrealsoftware to perform gay sexual practices with him.

Nonetheless I enjoyed my time here and laughed my ass off on a daily routine back then.

I even found my old avatar that I used back in the days so I'll use that until this site dies from now on.

Oh man. Going back in general to the posts, comments and messages I've written when I was a kid or teenager makes me cringe so much. I've got no idea what made me write such BS. I wish I was smarter back then, but I guess it's never too late to be a better and much less cringey person

As an oldie i kinda wish I wasn't living under a rock during the time i was playing this game. I felt like i missed out on such golden toxic/cringe moments in the community/forums just cause i only played and edited things offline.

Regardless, it's always nice to come back every couple of months or years just to get that feel of nostalgia... all my hours spent on messing around with the map editor, game files and my half-ass Roleplay scripts that I never got to finish.

I will never forget about this game ever in my life... the few friends i made here and on FPSBanana too. This game had such a big impact on me growing up that i couldn't even imagine.

P.S Always nice seeing some veterans who are still around. Wish you guys all the best! us

CS2D was nostalgia to me, i first started playing without an USGN account April 11th. 2014 shortly before update b.0.1.2.4 came out. I made a lot of friends, been part of a bunch of nostalgic clans, and i even became friends with an owner of one of them. The playerbase was pretty much still alive, there were lots of good servers i liked and played on. CS2D died, but the nostalgia didn't die with it.

I am FabianPL, even myself, i'll admit i did some stupid things back then, including that in-game hacking thing from 2016, and after that i thought Unreal Software was hunting me for years, lol.

But nevertheless, we can all enjoy the past and all the good times we've had.

At least how i can put it:
"We didn't realize we were making memories, we were just having fun."

To all the people i've met and made friends with, even though you may not be here anymore, cheers.
And good luck.

I was editing a document on Microsoft Word Online with user Bibi08 today and the whole thing about a website where different people type from their own computers in real-time reminded me of thread offtopic Unreal Software @ World of Text from over 6 years ago. Probably my favourite contribution (if you can call it that) to this website.
The best part of it is that it's still online and is full of text by dozens of us users, so check it out if you want a little trip down memory lane.

I remember the times we considered this as potato cookie

Also absolutely for no reason I remember the guy used line
"Ultra4Killer - fail of the year " in his signature

I just randomly popped in to check what is new, whether Stranded 3 can already accept Bitcoins or has it's own Kickstarter page so I could bully user DC into returning moo.wav sounds back into the installation folder of CS2D (jk).
I have to admit, while I am still unimpressed by the options to finance DC's work and move all my finances to launder them, I am glad this website is still alive and lively. I am also delighted some people still remember the "signature" I made, lol.

The first experience ever with CS2D for me was probably somewhere before 2010, back when USGN accounts and these forums were separate entities, and all I did was either play Tibia servers or mess around in de_dust maps, and actually got good with M4A1, for a stupid teenager. Then, at some point, USGN shat itself (I believe) and I had to make a new account here.

Thus, the bonanza shitposting endeavour began, although I have to admit that I sometimes did have a short glimpse of intelligence and contributed to the community in a useful way, or so I hope. Needless to say, I have had a great fun with people here in the prime years, or you could say, Golden Era of Shitposting, and beyond.

My favorite moments were, apart from my cringy first nickname, either when user medeiros gave a GTFO truck in ascii form to MeyeM/GayeM, the poll regarding to ban Erik963, MrShock/Picias/Dev1larse combo, or pretty much when back then, you could get violation notices (or infractions, perhaps), and most of us here used them as a sport to collect as many as possible in short time. Before receiving a temporary ban, of course. Rodrigo here collected tons, sorry man.

Few years later, we just said "See you in X days lads" or "See you next week". I can imagine user DC saved life savings on anger management lessons, because I haven't seen as patient person as him online yet.

I wish some of the stuff could survive the tests of time, such as thread offtopic Pigtales! or thread offtopic Unreal Software @ World of Text but basically, anytime I check thread trash Deleted Posts, old memories come back. Sometimes it makes me think and miss all those people, and conversations, anything. But that's what user Time does to all of us. We grow up.

With that being said, I hope you all guys are safe during these troubling times (yeah, I have seen too many car advertisements with this phrase), and perhaps the world will be fine soon again.

Oh yeah, and potato. cookie
