Where are all these maps everyone seems to be talking about on this forum?

Also under spawning control what does the radius mean? I assume it has to do with how many units are in that radius. If any units do not exist in that space it triggers the spawning of more. If that is so how is the radius measured?

So if the radius is 0 then all that happens is no random placement occurs and the units appear exacly there, and the computer keeps track of all the units produce by that spawn then to determine if new units need to be respawn is that correct?

you mean "MODS". Mods usually include new maps. Mods can be found all over the threads like this.

If you mean how radius is used for spawning and controlling:
ex. radius - 100
Lion every 1 day
parts/max - 3/4
would spawn 3 lions within the radius of 100 if there are less than 4 lions in the radius of 100 when the day changes (or hour=24 to 0)
i'm not a big fan of spawn control, i recommend something else

Its just that, I have bin playing stranded for a long time now, but i still don't know how to change the way stuff stands, like If i put up a fence and it is vertical and i want to lie it down horizontally, like somebody els has don in there maps, with big fences, is there a way to do that? pleas help

Look for the commands... Seems like you most certainly can...

EDIT: However, I'm told by filfer that this may cause problems later on. So it looks like this could go either way. Basic use is probably safe, but advanced use might not be.

Builder has it working in his mod, but then again, he's put a lot more work in to his mod than the average modder.

Second Edit: I should point out that I am referring to freeing an object and creating a new one setting a new scale attribute. I am not referring the the Scale command. These are two different things.

Each person ends up using their own methods. I offer free ones, but I am a bit hypocritical in that although I advocate the free tools, I barely ever use them because my development time is greatly reduced by using commercial tools (a common difference between free and commercial software).

For free users (who don't have mass amounts of money), DeleD Community Edition (google it) is a free modelling suite with a B3D import/exporter. However, I personally use 3DStudio Max 2009 for model design and UltimateUnwrap3D for converting 3DS exported models to B3D. Both of which are commercial and NOT cheap.
