No guerrillas, soldiers, or anything with guns.
That's for Stranded II, the easily moddable version.
But, it's looking good so far, DC. Keep up the work.

Hurri04: Combining multiple terrain layers would be possible probably but it's also complicated to handle (in the editor as well as in automatic terrain generation). I prefer to keep it simple.
Lion_Hearted: Of course I'm aware of this possibility but the resulting blocky look will still be there even with complicated smoothing attempts. Also I'm not trying to clone Minecraft here and digging and caves are not an essential feature for a survival game.

DC will be tired of making Stranded 3, he will just buy and rename Far Cry 3 to Stranded 3 and he will sell it in 2 times bigger price than Far Cry 3 is, like in most Dandy famicom cartridges in 90's, I think.

-tony316-: No, this would be a totally unrealistic aim. SIII will never reach such a good visual quality. Far Cry 3 is a state of the art commercial triple A title. A group of very experienced professionals worked long and hard to make these graphics possible.
Nem: I'm not sure. There will probably be skills again which improve certain actions. Maybe there will be more general stats that improve the health and other stuff as well. I also planned to make armors and clothing and stuff that you can craft yourself and wear. I'll post more about this in the dev blog as soon as I'm sure how I'll do it.
Z-: I don't plan to make a browser version. Unity doesn't allow DLLs in browser versions for security reasons but I need those for Lua scripting and most of the in-game stuff will be scripted. No Lua, no game.
