Well, if anything you could program nice games in almost any programming language. Even JavaScript or Flash. I've managed to create a nice game though, you can find it here. I wrote it in like 1-3 days during a stay at my friend's house. I wanted to see if it was possible to write a FPS shooter game in JavaScript in the web browser and yes it was possible. It does have bugs although I still managed to create some very basic collisions, player rotation, map objects, console commands, weapon switching (via the 1 and 2 keyboard key), weapon shooting (no gfx yet, I might continue developing sometime around), sound effects for the weapons. It's fun to create games in conclusion, I had a blast developing it. It's not the best game in the world but I wanted to create one in JavaScript because I felt nobody does it in pure JavaScript. Anyhow, a few people seems to have liked the game such as
k0z, he also wanted me to continue the development of it, so I might do sometime around.This
-Berry- is what you should strife for individual game design, it's much more fun because you get to decide what's in the game rather than others not that it's wrong that others can decide what's in the game but because you have more freedom to express yourself freely in the game and the game will be more you if you know what I'm saying. Those who create games for Android are forced to develope Freemium based. Android has a big problem with piracy right now because a lot of people just download an .apk file somewhere from the internet. It's very easy.
You can make 2D games with this. You can make 3D games too but its too hard with XNA.
