Hello. I'm curious if any of you still have a working PlayStation Portable like I do.
If yes please share the games that you have and your favourites as well
I do not know what that is though
I grew up playing PSP alone without even knowing what a internet is lol
Not to mention that I lost my USB cable years ago and my system is outdated (6.60 i believe)
I didn't even have mine. However, two of my friends have that. Playing FPS games is kinda terrible on it I do never change my PC to any platform, yet if there's Bully game on that; it'd be worth to give a try of course.
"Outdated system...6.60" It is the lastest important update that came out in 2011. Basically PSP is dead for sony for 6 years now. Also PSP uses standard USB that costs like 1$ (or even less). BTW if you want to get more views from yt, us isnt the best option to do so.
But back to the topic:
Ive changed my PSP into emulation device, I can play everything that came out on GBA. Ive also downloaded dosbox and installed "dos navigator" on this. After some tweaking (changing analog stick into mouse output/ adding *.bat files for every game aka control schemes) I could run Quake 1/2, Doom1/2, Transport Tycoon, XCOM1/tftd and many more. I couldnt run TES Daggerfall nor Arena but oh well...
Original PSP games that I recomend are:
GTA VCS
N+
And thats really it. PSP dont have any superb games, Ive played more than 100 games on it end every game was "Ok, its exists"
Some of my games are:
jak and dexter lost frontier
monster hunter freedom unite
final fantasy crisis core
ace combat skies of deception
secret agent clank
invizimals
The first three are my favourites; I put hundreds of hours into them.
I have them too
I enjoyed jak and daxter a lot due to it's freedom in space ship combat (The apocalypse weapon is so OP btw o.o)
Secret Agent Clank is an awesome game as well, I completed it about 5 to 8 times already.
Invizimals are from far my favourite games as of camera playthrough
Eyepet was pretty decent also but now...eh..so boring :v
I used to play Burnout Legends a lot. Had two PSP's in my childhood, the first was the fat one and had some display issues. the second one didn't survive a year because the UMD drive just died. I wanted to give it back and let it repair where I bought it but they refused to do so as the warranty ran out. So I had to stick to PC gaming later. I still miss the good old times.
I even had the PlayStation Phone, known as Sony Xperia Play, which was quite nice back in the time. I wish they would revive it with the latest and best internals. 10/10 would buy
I still have burnout legends to this day but goddamnit I can't unlock the firetruck
My PSP survived all these years in either inactivity or safely inside it's cape.
My mom used to hide my psp due to the unhealthy hours that I've spent on it
