Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if CS2D would go into a type of game where you see the character at a side view (like Maplestory..) and you can see only a certain distance above you and to the sides of you.
Because seeing behind you in a gun related game is kind of.. awkward?

Anyways I was just wondering if this game was going to eventually hit Sprites and be able to have less of a view, maybe a third person shooter that's 2-d, such as Gunz: The Duel. Making it so you never see the front of the character, just the sides and back.

If anyone knows about this happening or not happening for maybe later in the future post please, I'm just curious :).

Well, MapleStory by Nexon is one of those games that work well online...So I would have to say no.

Lol, this game would work great online if it had the style of Maple + seeing infront of you as if a 3rd person fps

how do you want to do that in a 2D game? Did you understand 2D properly?
CS2D is and will ever be a topdown shooter! and it's good so. if you want to play in side view, play soldat

The perspective of CS2D is never ever going to change of course! I would have to re-program the whole game from scratch and that's the last thing I want to do. It will stay a top down 2d shooter forever and I don't see any reason to change that.

I would rather program a new game than changing the perspective of CS2D.
