I didn't see a thread about it yet, but now I created it just to say:

THANK YOU DC! YOU MADE AN AWESOME JOB!

I really liked that some of my suggestions (but maybe you already thought of them yourself) got in!
This new version brings new and incredible possibilities to cs2d!

Now for some changes I really liked (form the changelog):

-[CHANGED] Debug Lua message "calling hooked function [...]" removed
YES! MY SUGGESTION AND FINALLY THAT STUPID THING IS REMOVED! THANK YOU!

-[ADDED] Map preview images (minimap) in maplist
This one was awesome! I really liked this change.

-[ADDED] Additional weapon information in buy menu
OH HELL YEAH! I remember I really wanted this in cs2d. I think I even suggested it. Now I know the RoF (rate of fire) and it's weigth (speed). The variety was also a SUPER addition! MAN THIS ROCKS!

-[ADDED] Command sv_sound2 id sound (play soundfiles as server)
My suggestion AND YES! THANK YOU! Now I will make some interesting things

-[ADDED] Command explosion x y size damage id (server: make explosion)
-[ADDED] Command shake id intensity (server: quake effect for player)
Both of these are awesome! They will allow for some crazy things with some lua magic!

-[ADDED] Command spawnobject typ x y ... (server: spawn an object)
This one was also good.

-[ADDED] Command customkill killer "weaponname" victim (server: kill pl.)
OMG DC! YOU LISTENED TO ME! THANK YOU OMG OMG OMG BEST CHANGE EVAH!

-[ADDED] You can now return 1 in Lua hit-hook to skip the damage process
Again! You listened to my suggestion! Thank you for implementing it!

I will be using this return 1 on hit-hook in lua, but one thing I should mention is that it's not written in the lua info.txt that you can return 1 on hit.

Ofcourse the additions of ms100 and ms500 to lua hooks was also very nice to see.

In overall I thank you for this awesome new version DC! I also liked that you fixed Favorite servers.

Edit: Forgot to mention these 2 changes, at first I didn't understand them and thought they do something else, but turns out they do just what I wanted them to do!

-[ADDED] Console input context menu with list of commands
Oh, it's on!

But I really can't wait to start making maps with this thing. I believe minimap and tiles for func_dynwall were mine, but I'm not sure. The tile dynwall was [I believe] on the first page of the suggestions. ^-^
With each update, my dream for a cs2d story mode comes closer... >:]

it's fair because it's cheaper + Ak-47 was too strong. The changes are totally minimal anyway.

I see you are obsessed with the source engine, very nice, very nice. I just purchased left4dead myself.

I would like to continually advocate new weapons though as it mixes the game strategy quite a lot. Really hope to see a Striker-12 street sweeper style shotgun in the near future.

I agree with KaiserWilhelm. evn_building rocks! i have already inter graded it into some of my maps. Also what DC did with the evn_obj is SWEET! I love the street light flicker!
