Ok I know that people are creating useless threads with this name but this one maaybe worthwhile.
Me and a Friend of mine are creating a new game called Eminent. At First it will be 2D But then it will be 3D. I would like to know some tips on how to create a awesome and addicting game like CS2D i know it seems stupid but I need HELP!!!
Yes i know it seems impossible but... Our deadline will be like 2 years to develop the Beta version and release it together with the new domain. I will let you know if you wish to help.

no I certainly don't want to join. I'm busy with my own projects moreover you don't seem to have the required experience for a project of this size (it's obvious to me when I read your post. "first 2d then 3d", "deadline like 2 years", "online", "at least 15 characters")
tips for you:
stop thinking about a project of this size. start with something MUCH smaller. otherwise you will never finish anything. I'm serious.
multiplayer games are probably one of the hardest things you can program. make little multiplayer games first. starting with a big multiplayer game can only lead to a fail. SQ Moderator Offline

If you can give me the sprites and gfx needed for this game, I might be able to help you out by churning out a skeleton for your game. One note, Lua or any dynamic language is not suited for game development. My suggestion is that you either go with a game-specific language (IE: Blitz or DB) or go with a static language on top of an opengl wrapper. However, if it really is just a small game that absolutely requires networking capabilities then python might be the way to go.
Though, something tells me that you've not even attempted to sort out the details of this "project" so until you have a real development agenda, no one will be willing to waste their efforts on an ambiguous project.

It's really obvious you can barely program from what you are saying...And yeah , that doesen't work... someone may do the programming stuff and what will you do ? Give ideas ?
