CS2D General Info requests
Info requests
2 replies I am trying to get my bots to beat my own clan. Of course I wan't to do this in a fair way however, bots are really weird on the money. They seem not to gain money after each round, only the 300 on kills and they don't get the startmoney. Also they don't have a function to move propperly, so I'm working with setpos commands.
Therefore I request the following information:
-Money formulas, I've been trying to get these by testing but I seem to get a different amount of money every round...
-Speed per weapon (4 is knife that's all I know).
Perhaps there's more but this is all to begin with.

you just really shouldn't do that! CS2D is not designed for it and it would be VERY inefficient (sending movement/position twice every frame - that's insane) and super dirty!
I'm planning to rewrite the whole bot AI with Lua and to add some fancy commands to make it easy to control them.
this would enable you to write your own bot AI in a much better and cleaner way.
however this Lua AI is just a plan and I didn't start realizing it yet. I can't tell you when it will happen. nevertheless I'm very sure that I'm going to do it. Oh nice... that's nice. I'll just slightly improve the bots for now. I know it'd be very inefficient but I thought it might work for offline servers.
I'd love to be able to script IA's, I'll just wait for that functionality. Thanks for keeping me from doing unnecessary work!
