The game is only "free vortigon", but there is still a "slave vortigon".

You better add more weapons from CS extreme/nst weapons mod.Like Infinity red yellow,bc-axe,gold m4a1 and blahblahblah.So u can attract more players in cs2d.And you better add also NPC soldier that's friendly with CTorT

@DC: So? Many games have many editors (most of it are indie games). Npc's should be stored in sys/npc. Relationships should be added. Their enemy npcs too.

NPC vs NPC relations should definitely be added. Soldiers in HL did shoot vorts and zombies, so they should be able to do this in CS2D too. And another soldier NPC. Opposing Force had friendly soldiers and enemy SpecOps, so maybe add SpecOps as second soldier NPC, they could deal more damage, but have less health or something like that, and along with NPC relations you could make NPC battles or even recreate HL levels or make your own missions. Also, NPC could be made friendly and they could follow you like hostages do. We already have NPC in, so why not make them more useful?

And Vortigaunts that are in CS2D are most likely ones from HL2, they don't have green collars like Vorts from HL1, but they do attack player(ones from HL2 were friendly).
They were slaves of Nihilanth in first part, wearing green collars and bracelets. With death of Nihilanth, they weren't controlled anymore and could break the bracelets. Few slaves still exist in HL2, they were probably captured before they managed to get rid of collars.
But only real difference is in lore and graphics. And that they were friendly in HL2.

cs2d is not hl guys so stop talking about halflife here

there already loads of weapon is cs2d why youd just enjoy it

EDT: cs2d is not an engine its an online freeware game its not for indie game maker you could just mod it like editing the skins or making some lua , id just told ENJOY THE CS2D

I have to agree with that.

But DC should add a enemy/friend NPC or npc vs. npc, that should be good

And add a jumping system, to jump over obstacles.
And allow more special characters, like those: ☢ ☣ ☯ ☭ ☮ ∏ ∐ ∑ Ϡ ant others...


P.S.: What does the OldRender entity does in map editor?

No, it's not cool.. If you can jump over any obstical it would ruin the total idea.

Yeah, but crouching should be crap, because there would be much players crouching-shooting-crouching and that would be lame

Well, with jumping one can simply run around jumping over obstacles with a shutgun and owning everyone.

This is obviously why neither are implemented, think about it.

Game lags more than before and crashes(virtual memory issues I guess) so fix that. New ideas? Try to make a lag compensation better than flood's

I think there will need light for map editor and scripting. Like when you make on map editor dark map and add the light its like remove dark for limited ratio and its make that area to normal light level

There's already a tool for that called Shadows&Lights.

I have an idea.

Mapeditor with Multiplayerfunction!

That would be awesome, more than 1 Player can edit a Map at the same time!
I know a good slipgate to shove you in
