How to import a .mdl file in ms3d
3 replies hi everyone , i can't import a half life mdl .When i import a mdl file , nothing happens 
.Please help me . Perhaps your file is corrupt? well, it has happened to me lots of times that files go corrupt at times (even anti-virus software can go corrupt) so yea my advice is to stay up-to-date on your anti-virus software to ensure that your computer is free from malware, one of my friend's recently had got a virus infection on his laptop. I helped him get rid of the malware, it took us 15 minutes to remove it completely. Basicly what you have to do is perform a chkdsk scan in the command line or by using it through a GUI in order to fix up the filesystem on your computer and afterwards when you reboot you'll be able to work on whatever you was doing or alternatively your model is having difficulties in loading the file's data, i'm just naming a few of the possibilities of cause and effect to you. Hope I've helped you a bit. 
Its not a virus.I can see all mdl files in half life model viewer , but milkshape can't view/import them. Tools > Kratistos Half-Life MDL Decompiler
Then
File > Import > Half-Life SMD
Importing MDL files? what.
