anyway GTA 5 will be cool game (in 240p quality too :D) 1bonp meant.Here I go again with my 5up3r-dup3r l33t info ripped, fucked and squeezed from wikis.
GTA 1 & GTA 2 - simple official multiplayer. For the second one, there's the third-party tool GTA2Manager which makes it even easier. GTA III - multiplayer was cut, but there still some texture and text files referencing to it. Old Multi Theft Auto releases work with GTA III. GTA Vice City - AFAIK no official multiplayer ever meant to be added. There's still Vice City Multiplayer (VC-MP) though. GTA San Andreas - yet again, no official online multiplayer meant to be added. Although in PS2 and Xbox versions, it is the only game to have offline 2-player game, which can be considered multiplayer. I love playing it on my PS2 with my friends, even though it's highly limited. As for unofficial mods, there are Multi Theft Auto and San Andreas Multiplayer (SA-MP). GTA Liberty City Stories & GTA Vice City Stories - both have WiFi multiplayer modes for the PSP only. Just finished playing GTA IV (over 10 GBs torrent from last night). It's amazing, the minigames and endless possibilities. Still wont beat San Andreas tho, but that's not a reason to not try it.
You can't say 'old school rocks' without trying new games.
Yeah, I agree with you, most old school games are better.
Like I say and many people agree: CS 1.6 is better then Source, but to comprove that I've already played Source. Same with GTAs.

Yeah. In GTA SA you can do most things IV has, I just said IV had endless possibilities, I didn't compare it with SA in that point.

I don't know about that. As I already noted, I ripped, squeezed and fucked (Angerfist quote lol) from the wiki. since I have the cracked (what would you except? lol) GTA IV, no built-in MP for me.

I bought GTA:IV when I bought a PS3 back in 2008 - 2009. The online has been mostly dead for the PS3 mostly because of Rockstars release of Red Dead Redemption. I'm not too sure about the PC version, but I know that it isn't that much of a high count compared to SA-MP.
