You could host your own "gaming network" but of course the original accounts wouldn't work. And it would receive the login attempts and therefore the poorly encrypted passwords of everyone who uses it... bad idea.

You could simulate the serverlist feature quite easily with a custom self-written master server but a reasonable amount of people and server admins would have to be aware of and use your custom master server to make it work. That's not practical especially considering that the regular U.S.G.N. isn't down that often and that the client provides several fallback lists (cached list, recently joined, favorites) to deal with shorter downtimes anyway.

CS2D images and sounds can be transfered without replacing player's own images and sounds. It should has its own directory with a name like temp in gfx and sfx folder because it's only temporary and will be removed after player leave the server. Also it should has its own command.

sv_sfxtransfer <sfx transfer>
GFX transfer only applies to npc, player, weapons images also maybe blood, buildings, equipment, explosion, flare3, fragments, knifeslash, scope, and all hud_ images, even fonts. SFX transfer applies to all sounds.

If you can add the "Find Server" option in-game while you playing a server (i mean if you want to connect in another server, you can simply click Find Server when you are connected in a specific server like in CS 1.6) without disconnecting everytime to join another server.

No need to remove refresh button! I want to disable the automatic activation of a button. Do you understand?
Let button works only once - when I first start the game. After the release of the server I am able to independently press refresh. I do not want that to computer refresh pressed instead of me!
You'll be pleased if I come to you and will constantly press refresh?

1)This needs to be fixed, because the server not eternal, and the game interesting. Remember what happened when the server removed the DC?
2) Will not, if DC will do everything right. If you do not think about the future, then at some point people will not be able to play.

As i can see CS2D more and more going to look like CSO then i think it need to add some features to change some game menus ... like as buymenu(with texts),teammenu, add some variation of menu with images(like buymenu) and so on.

Add some visual features like improved animation of magazine drop, bomb defusing/planting, death of player/item fallen at tile of abyss/lava/toxic/...

Some ideas for improving Map Editor:
Add blending tiles type(floor/obstacle, floor/wall, obstacle/wall).
Add blending for tiles brightness and color.

that <x> <y> is posiotions on the map.
This is will be easiest way to make that on the maps, without conculate player positions and etc.
also id's of hudtexts is same as hudtxt, 0-49

Some ideas for improving Map Editor:

Bots can zoom with the ai_attack2 command, hearing is possible but the script would be very complex.
They can aim through walls, you just need a botscript for that...

The visual features are all possible with a script, that would be complex as well. All the blending is possible with sprites and more tiles.

It can be done with lua scripts... but it can be implement into entities same as other simple functions can be implemented into different entities.

I don't know if you can but in the new version of cs2d i would like to get search menu.

Search menu is a little window where we can write names of servers for find them easilly.
Like if i write shotgun in the search window, all shotgun servers will apear. Like this we can find a server easily with their name or their Map Name.

@user Ryden: There's already such a function like this, just click "Find Servers", click Filters located in the below left of the Find servers window and there's a field named "contains in Name" to find servers easily as a name and/or "contains in Map" to find the specific map of all current servers that have the map.
Filters is like a search feature to search also all servers that have one game mode (e.g all servers with standard game mode) and so on.

I would enjoy if there was competitive match making with lobbies where people can invite you into or you invite them into in the same way like CS:GO.

The benefits would be that players with different ELO ratings won't meet eachother, so you don't have to play against the best or the worst players. It'll automatically queue you up versus equally skilled players based on your ELO rating.

It'd be somewhat helpful for people who are new to CS2D, so they don't leave the game after getting "rekt" basically.

I think this would help alot of people in getting better at the game too.

The ELO system should be similar to CS:GO ELO system. Then it'll be working fine.
