I've seen a bunch of threads having to do with making sounds. I've also got pms about how to do them. I will now teach you how to make custom sounds for CS2D.

Step1: First, you'll need a sound file for CS2D. Can be anykind of file. If you want a music file, you can go to mp3skull.com to download the file. Also, make sure that the file isn't too big! Sometimes if you have big files (like 765 kb), the servertransfer can't transfer them. You'll need to go to options>net> then set it "All < 1mb". Please note that anyone who joins a server, you'll need to get them to change their Download Files to "All < 1mb" to get the big files.

Step2: Go to http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html and Download the sound file converter. Scroll down until you see "Supported Audio File Formats". Look down under the paragraph. It will say "Get it free". Their will be a link at the end. Click it.

Step3: Click the link and click run. Follow the steps of the downloader. If it asks you if you wat to download some programs, select the ones you want. You can also leave everything blank.

Step4: Now, click start, then go to all programs,
then click Windows Movie Maker.

Windows 7/And vista Users Only You can also do this on windows 7/vista. For Windows 7/and vista users, click start, go to all programs, and search for windows movie maker.

Step5: Open up windows movie maker, then select "Import audio or music" (On the left side). Select your audio music. Now, once you do that, select it, and drag it into Audio/Music.

Step6: Now, You can edit the file to make it smaller. It will be best to make it like a loop. Do what ever you want to the file. (Make sure its not a big file!)

Step7: Once you're all finished with the clip, On the top, click file, then select "Save Movie File...". Once you did that, A save movie wizard box should appear. It should say where you want to save it. Click "My Computer" then click next. Now, it should say "Saved Movie File" In the box that says " 1. ", enter whatever name you want it to be, and select the place you want to save it on. Now click next, and wait until it is finished.

Step8: Now, you'll need to open up Switch Sound File Converter. Make sure you checked the option to make a background icon. If you didn't, you'll need to go to start>all programs>Switch Sound File Converter. Once you open it, it will show a dialog saying that it is licensed for non-commercial use. Select the 1st option. Do not select the 2nd option. (Only if you want to buy it)

Step9: Now select Add files+ and select the movie file that you made in windows movie maker v2.6. Make sure that you remember where you saved it!

Step10: Now once you're done selecting the files that you want to convert, click the file, (MAKE SURE THE OUTPUT FORMAT IS .ogg OR .wav! .ogg would be better because it uses less kb than .wav!) Then select convert.

Step11: Once its done converting, open up CS2D, then go to editor. Put down a sv_sound entity, and select the custom sound that you made! Or, if you want to use it for a music, or whatever, put it into your servertransfer, and their you go.

Congratulations, you just made a custom sound! It's very simple. PM me or post here if you have problems while trying to make the custom sound. Also, if you have a Net: Transfer error, that means that the file is too big to transfer to other people, which means that you need to create another one thats smaller. Hope this helped!
