HUD skins(like *_k.bmp and others hud/gui images) have non-standard colors.
As you can see this:IMG:https://s009.radikal.ru/i308/1202/77/bab1eb47e2e5.png

As you can see blue color HUD will be dark grey.

Try to change this images(some of it color and some grayscale)
hud_slotheads.bmp
hud_symbols.bmp
hud_slot.bmp
hud_shade.bmp
hud_dot.bmp
gui_server.bmp
gui_icons.bmp
gui_shade.bmp

Use layers to change colors, if you're using Paint.NET.
Don't use blue and his mixes (pink, light blue) because blue = black, pink = red and light bue = green. Dark colours become transparent.

C.P. — changeable part.

blue - blue = black
pink - blue = (red + blue) - blue = red
light blue - blue = (green + blue) - blue = green
rgb(95,24,234) - blue = 95,24,0

You can't get all colors as result. The point is that this stuff is not designed to be changed in color at all. CS2D uses grayscale images and colors them itself and there is currently no option to change the colors which CS2D uses for HUD stuff.

What people are explaining here is just a somehow dirty trick to change the colors anyway but it is limited.
