i think hegrens should not be able to do damage through map walls or contruction mode walls cuz its just real annoying in contruction mode where people just build a supply, take all the hegrens they can from it and bomb the hell outa the other team and the opposite team has no defense or cover besides dodging it.

it would also be nice if like some noob downloaded cs2d and a message popped up telling him the definition of the radio commands and stuff so that hes not much of a noob and it would make gameplay better for experienced players. something hardly like 2 paragraphs long just quick facts about gameplay thats all.

1 more thing, im pretty sure this isnt a bug and i am well aware that DC reminded us all not to report bugs but this HAS been happening to me ever since cs2d 0104. its with sniping with awp. what really annoys me with this weapon is that i zoom in TWICE WITH AWP and i shoot an enemy TWICE and i know i hit him cuz i see the blood and he still does not die. like i usually shoot him in the arm or the shoulder but its always a miss. the only time when i make a kill with awp is when my cursor is directly above his head.plz fix this

Well it doesn't have to be unrealistic. I just find it unfair when your in a game with no fow, your very low on health and theres a very thin wall infront of you and on the otherside is an enemy. So he/she desides to throw a hegren at the wall and you die because of the very cheap explosion. C-H-E-A-P!

The HE ( Hegren ) grenade is already fine and fair the way it is, you just need to learn how to protect yourself from them. If you'd like some training, contact me via PM, or via e-mail, as I'm a Pro with hegren grenades. Rarely anyone I have played with survives my hegren grenades.

But you don't see where I'm getting at here. Okay, so say you're in construction mode, and theres a striaght, 1 block thick wall running along the middle of the map and the wall is 5 blocks long in width. You're on the left side of the wall and you deside to build a dispenser right next to that wall. NOW, an enemy from the right side of the wall desides to build a supply. And every time a hegren spawns from his supply, he throws it at the wall. And everytime the hegren explodes, the blast radius reaches across the wall to the left side and does damage to your dispenser. He continuesly throws hegrens at your wall untill finally your dispenser is destroyed. THERE WAS NO SKILL INVOLVED AT ALL IN THAT PARTICULAR SITUATION! It was CHEAP! NO SKILL! NO TACTIC! ALL CHEAP! And the same thing CAN happen to you (as in might KILL YOU) if you were right beside your dispenser while the enemy was throwing the hegrens.

Uhh, well I'm sorry I don't noob camp and build in construction. I play as if it were a standard game.

There still should be no changes made to the damage radius of the hegren. It's perfect right now.

DC said already that he is going to add an value where you can decide serverside if a greande due damage behinde a wall or not. Just read the previous posts. (maybe it is in the german section, but I am pretty sure that it is written in the english section.

Anyway, I have no Problem that a nade does damage behind a wall, especially in construction mode. This mode is already so full with lame campers, it's horrible. But at least it is not that hard to win. flash, kill, kill, kill flash, kill, kill, capture the flag

And I would never use a tactic as you said, it is just boring, and it is not hard to kill this players (same to player who think it is a great idea to hide below a palmtree or to hide in a smoke nade.

there already IS an option to change that explosions inflict damage through walls (sorry I think I forgot to add it to the changelog)

you can find it at options -> more and it is called "mp_curtailedexplosions". set it 1 one and explosions will not inflict any damage through walls.

Make a delay longer between changing weapon.
or you can get a scope knife

Aug->right mouse button->knife=scope knife.

Its true actually, if you have an Aug scope then switch to your knife you have a scoped knife now.

huds, sounds, skins, etc...
source its awesome than 1.6,
and it will be cool in 2d...

ps: still cs2d, but with source features...
