I think idea with bazooka rockets is not good idea ;/ its making game not so fun like runing with spears and stuff.By the way i thing that good idea is to make a lvl of some skills when you can create a toll like for exemple when you cut 10 trees you can create axe 50 tress golden axe or something like that. 2nd think is a since skill wich will higher if you incrase other skills. It will be usefoul to create amonition for gun and other not fishing/woodcuting/planting/etc. skills ..
expect that game is great

I think you actually NEED an axe to cut the trees, not NEEDing to cut the trees to get the axe.
Also, I bet they won't be adding the fire weapons to the Adventure mode, they're just in case for singleplayer maps.
Concluding, make sure you improve that English. -.-

the rocket launcher and the pistol/shotgun cannot be created by the player and so they are not available on the most maps. you will not get them on the the endless game or in the adventure!
they are just made for fun on special maps.

the skills already have an effect on certain stuff. for example the axe will become more effective depending on how many trees you cut (you have to combine items to get an axe so it would make no sense to get it by increasing the skills too)

Honestly, this is one game in million. But I think there are certain issues the creator is overlooking. whenever I begin a random island, i imagine myself in the situation the player is in. To tell you the truth, I have personal experience of being stranded (if not by situation then by will )but there are certain things that completely detaches me away from my imagination and makes the game too...(over the top) ? why can't we make this game more real? what's the point in the player making an entire hut and not being tired? In a island where you are stranded, the main challenge should be survival. The player should feel himself attached to the character during the entire gameplay. I have lots of suggestions and tips if the creator is willing. However I have to confess that, whoever the creator is very very creative i just want him to be a bit more practical and serious on his extraordinary. may be this way this game can be the best in the world.

DC is the creator of Stranded ... and i think Stranded CANT be the best gae in the weorld because the "best" games in the world are graphic shooter like Crysis ... not much people like games with a good gameplay .... most of them prefer graphic.

If you make Stranded to realistic its going to be another game than Stranded ... dont change to much on a good game or i will becoma a really bad game.

Making a more realistic and even more complex Stranded would be the goal for a possible Stranded III and of course I have tons of ideas for this.
However Stranded II is finished and there will be just minor patches for it.
If you want to have a more realistic Stranded II with your very own ideas and objects you could learn scripting and make it yourself. I gave you the tools to realize your ideas! Nearly everything is possible. Have a look at Massive Mod or Extension Mod for example.

Technically, the most *awesome* tool you could ever give us, and the one you have yet to release, is the source for Stranded II. With that it would not be "nearly everything", it *would* be everything.

I started playing StrandedII a few weeks ago and love it. But, like some members posted (ie. Falcon) I found a few things which did not sound to logical:
- water bottles being created out of thin air
- destroying rocks and trees with the fist alone
- carrying a lit torch in the rucksack, etc.

Although I havn't modified all of what I just mentioned, the mod is coming along well enough. As you can see in the avatar shown here, this is an enlarged version of the "skin water pouch" I get when I combine skin + cord, and I cannot fill a skin if I (the stranded guy) don't already carry an empty skin pouch. The actual icon looks much better and is also used for juices and potions.

I make all the icons in the bmp format from pictures I fetch from the web and alter them. Hopefully, they are all free to use and alter as they have not been stated otherwise.

My main concern is with modelling. I know nothing about this. Maybe someone can help if members think the mod is worth it.

Also, as I whish to respect moders' work, can I use items, units, etc. other moders created? I particularly like the "Kidnap Mod" squirell... and there are a lots of great ideas others have. Can I use script snippets from others and merge them in my scripts without creating havock ? (I don't want to be disrespecful of other creators).

Here is an overview of the Natural Mod.

Thanks.

I am glad to know that there are people who agree with me. I recently went through the Natural Mod (ekko). Its appreciable but still not natural enough.

There are numerous drawbacks mostly inherited from the original version. Like-
I have never heard of a fireplace that keeps on burning for ages with 10-12 logs.

I never heard of a thing called a lion's stone from where adults lions pop out every single day. same with other animals...

Is the stranded guy made of Iron? the way he jumps (or falls) from the top of a mountain or a steep slope without the scratch...

The hunger, thirst, health and tiredness bars are in no way pragmatic. I don't think anybody will die with just 2-3 days without food.... sim. when a lion attacks so fiercely, he sustains no major injuries. even if he does, he recovers in seconds... to attack another lion... using some silly herb leaves... its ridiculous

and countless other things...
I have many things in mind that i would love to share with people who understand my sentiment rather than my words. i am planning a mod myself. But I am really busy (for this month). However I am thinking of starting a new thread recently and welcome any intelligent.. designers and scripters to work with my mod...

P.S. I really aprreciate the ekko's ideas of returning to home rather than settling in. Its bright of him.
