Hello,

I have one offtopic question but i don't know where to put my question. So can you put together at least 2 or more mods into stranded 2 ?

The Distler is completely broken with me no matter how long an item is in the distler it dosent change and just produces salt

I'm having the same issue as shrde with the Distiller. It's been running for several days in game and all I'm getting is salt, no water.

I am quite new to this but I say it is fantastic. Thanks Builder2-0!

I have a few possible bugs, if not bugs then suggestions:

The iron axe can split wood but the steel one cannot?

I can make the steel machete but I seem to be unable to make an iron one. Wondering if the machete can also be used like a knife to replace it.

Time continues in the mine when in the world, but not the opposite. Come out of the mine after a couple days and my plants are still freshly planted.

When heating iron is there any chance it could be a darker shade of red? Its fine on a normal forge, but in the lava forge I find it hard to tell when it is heated (probably due to contrast with the red anvil).

I would love the diary entry back when it comes to forges. I made the mistake of starting with Massive Mod (as I was suggested to) and not the vanilla. The initial working out on how to make the forge was a trial. Tried putting it on a fire pit etc.

Again thanks for this mod!

Builer2-0, I do love your mod!

Here are some bugs I found in this release and some suggestions.

1.can't make flour into dough with spring, even cook skill is more than 200. It still shows msg "I don't have enough cook skill.."
2.make glass bottle won't cost silica dust. I can make unlimited bottles with only 3 dust.
3.anvil should have 3 blocks to fit soft irons, but when some of my soft iron "disappear", the anvil will lose its block, now I can only have 2 blocks.
4.I can make 3 grains from a bamboo, is that correct?
5.how about add 'steel' before the steel tools, or sometimes I just can't tell them from iron tools.
6.how about player can plant blueblossom, cotton and bamboo?(I really don't want to use net to collect resources, it's like cheat! but I've to when I collect cotton and blueblossom since they are un-spawn!)

I have an idea about end game, if survival skill is high enough, player can make a huge beacon to ask for help. Actually, I have already made one, but model is rough, and script is rough, too.(I enlarge the campfire, use the story mode's ending movie, if you are interested, I can pm it to you.it will be a honor if you add it in MM)

hey kk0114, I like too your idea and I'd like to see your model, can you send me, or post images of your model pls.
I was making a mod (indeed, putting ideas from other mods into one, for personal use), but when I know MM I gave up. But, I think that I'll remake my mod, and I'd like to put this idea in mod; if you allow

RrR2010, I love this game, so anyone can use my idea without permission.
As I said, it's still very rough, but works.

1. use a model as bonfire, I just copy the campfire and make it BIGGER!

2.add this script into the 'game.inf', just before '//Autosave'

3.copy these into a text file and name it as 'rescue.txt'(or whatever you like!), then move this file to '/sys/scripts/'

4.after player build a bonfire, when he sleep and pass the random check, a dialogue will shown and then bring player home!

So, been looking at this mod for aaaages, but could never get it to work on this machine (laptop with Win7) and saw that apparently this new version of MM would do so.
But when I run it, I get aview circling a pirate on a small island. With red and blue pixel leaves.
The leaves vanish.
The leaves reappear.
My screen goes black.
Everythign returns to normal, except MM shows me nothing, and I get amessage saying my NVidia graphics card died.
Clicking inside the game window gives me the main menu with background animation with occasional flashes of the mutant leaves, and a mouse with spordically smooth/frozen movement.
Pushing through to try a random island, it appears to work.
Well, except for the very frequent, irregular lag spikes and the fact that the ground is black.

Any ideas at all as to what's gone wrong?


EDIT: the black ground seems to be an issue with tabbing out, but the freaky foliage remains, though is slightly less bad if I switch off 'fog' and the motion blur.

EDIT EDIT: If I attempt to tough it out (because occasionally the foliage does seem to appear normal) my video card will keep crashing every minute or so.

Hello,

I must say you, MM mod is the best

But, I wanna ask you about map changing. I play a MM for a week I think, I have goods camps on islands and I am looking for more action. I will create more lions or something like that but, when I edit a map, saves don´t edit, they´re same, as the basic map. And now Q:
Is existing the way, that i can change the map and this map will change in my saves, too ?

I want to apologize for my english, i hope you can understand me.

Hi, I stumbled across Stranded not too long ago, and then happened across Massive Mod.

So far I have been having a lot of fun with the mod; some of the changes are things I have felt should be in Stranded since I first played (bottles don't magically disappear when I drink the water, yay!), and the new skills are cool.

However, I'm having a little trouble with the forge. I'm on the first map of the regular adventure mode. I went to the water rock at the base of the mountain, drained it of water, and built a forge over it.

I can place iron in the forge, but I can't seem to light the forge. The use key doesn't do anything (whether I click the anvil, the rock, or the wooden frame), hitting with a torch or flint doesn't work, holding charcoal in my hand and trying to use it does nothing...

Obviously I kinda need to be able to work iron to make any real progress, so it would be nice to know what I'm doing wrong.

Well, you had the right idea with hitting it with torch/flint, but you need to make sure you hit the actual coals inside the forge. If this is a problem, I believe you can destroy the top of the forge(the shelter) without any functionality being removed.

I'm actually having problems myself with the Distiller, like Shrde and invadernny. All salt, no freshwater. I even have to occasionally "relight" the fire, (even when already lit) just to be able to back into the distiller's inventory menu.

Hopefully for the three of us(and anyone else having the problem, who hasn't spoken up) there is a simple solution, as I'm playing on hard mode, and just in order to survive i have to either spend all of my time gathering leaves, vines or fruits(or get steaks from the lions, which haven't been spawning in some places they used to be) and that pretty much cancels out all my foraging for water supplies...

These distillers make and break the game at the moment for me...

Any at all information or ideas on fixing it would be appreciated. Thanks alot.


EDIT: Also apparently, The option to take the Distiller apart does nothing. Just a heads up in case that wasn't ever mentioned.

My forge is in a place where the top of the forge becomes an obstacle for working on it!
This little piece of knowledge helped me more than you think! Without that roof everything is gravy!

Guys, is it possible to make a pistol or a rifle in stranded 2.

Im not talking about the modern day rifles and pistols, i am talking about the old pistols from the times of pirates.

Sure is.
Carve a log into the stock.
Sprinkle coal dust on hot iron to make steel and shape into a barrel.
Create steel balls then combine them with gunpowder for ammo.
Gunpowder: Sulphur, Saltpeter, Charcoal (I think)

Then go shoot a lion... After you piss it off spend ages reloading the gun, by then you will have probably been mauled!
