'tis another suggestion! Be afraid, very afraid...
So I was looking at the editor and playing around with it, but then I noticed that the only effects one could apply to the background was the scroll. I'm wondering if it is possible to add effects that are in the Info_TileFX entity to the background.

Specmode: When you click on a teleporter you get to the telport destination

Flashbang: When you get flashed the radar should be flashed to, otherwise you know if you are running against a wall or not (ok, thats skill but not realistic)

Multi layer editor: Make it possible to add more layers to the map. Not as always suggested to make it possible to move at and below the bridge on aztec, more like a cellar, the first floor, second floor and a roof.

Otherwise you have to make the map huge, if you want that no one can see the other layers and hear some gun sounds.

Or maybe it could be also added that you hear sounds from below (with a special sound mode o_O) when someon shoots in the cellar. I have no idea if this is possible in BlitzMax.

Perhaps a story mode? The Stranded II story was great. I'd like to see one as good as (or better than) that story.

Could go along with LinuxGuy's suggestion, so that, if turrets are present, would attack both sides and 'protect' an area.

this probably hasnt been sugested already (at least i hope not...) but maybe a portal gun... like in valves portal game. it could work by primary fire creats a blue line on the wall it hits and secondary fire makes a orange/red line on the wall it hits and it could make it simalir to the warp entities in the editor so it connects the blue to red or something..... anyone else think this is a good idea.... like as one of those joke weps like the snowball

I agree, at least it makes more sense than a snowball

@COmpaQ: If you haven't noticed, no one except you, Aj, or lee can access the banlists in the TGV servers. So it would make sense if we had one in game for EVERYONE to see. And who they got banned by, USGN #ID's AND Names. No one wants to see a ID DC

This would be possible with Lua. Except with Classes.
But if your saying add it into CS2D's system, then you MUST be kidding.

How about Trigger_Random in editor, for example you write in Trigger: trig1, trig2, trig3. By activating it will trigger one of them randomly.

I suggest to use Lua map scripts and parse("trigger xxx") etc. (I'm pretty sure that Lua has functions for random numbers etc.)
