DC has denied that suggestion a whole alot. The solution for this though would be to use TeamSpeak or similar programme for voice chat ingame.


And if you don't want to talk with your firends only, but the 1s in the game, the server should make a TeamSpeak server that people could join... But it will be VERY hard to get people to use it.

But gameplay would be nuts if that was possible.
Think about it. You hold ALT (what ever the key is) behind an obstacle, wait for a player to shoot, release ALT, shoot, hold it again

@Anders4000: Yeah, I see your point but I think DC would deny that suggestion about voice chat. A solution for voice chat on join in the server... well, you could add a TeamSpeak adress that is printed out (using "msg") to everyone on the server every minute or so, in order to make them able to connect to the voice chat.

I also like the crouching idea... hope it can someday be realised. But I think not.

Definitely phys. objects. Such as pushable crates and stuff, such things that normally appear in CS 1.6, CS:S. I know this is also possible in Lua script form aswell, but still internal implementation of phys. objects would definitely be a good thing to add. I'm looking forward to something like that anyways.

Well, there could be a option so that it is passed on to a existing player that is in the same team, if that player disconnects it will just pass the bomb on to anyone on the team until it finds one active player.

Well I don't know if that works really, have to put it at test first I guess.

Well if that can be achieved,than make sure it doesn't come as the weapon you are holding,cause I believe people would dislike taking the bomb while fighting

What I would like to have is more entities,to have a decimal trigger_delay.Removing that armor thing on construction servers would be good.Gives no opportunity for snipers.
From what I read,one thing would not be a good idea.That sniper thing,with the moving screen.It would make snipers have advantage over all.Than aimbotters would be hardly recognized.

No, the bomb would just be passed on randomly selecting a player that exists and equipping that player with a bomb that has been taken from the quitting player and strictly putting the bomb into slot 5 which is the bomb slot. You'd never get it as primary or secondary weapon if you think that. It also won't be set as the active weapon when the bomb is received, it will just be added to bomb slot end of story. DC could make this possible I'm sure. But if he will implement this that's totally another story.

I like this idea though because then it would become a "bomb lottery" about who gets the bomb. It's also useful for lazy people, lol. If the bomb was dropped far away then this implementation would be that lazy player's saviour.

for exm:A player has a m4a1 and a usp.He is walking with a usp.That's the weapon he is holding.I meant that in this way

Actually, you can replace sounds. (sfx/weapons/m4a1_silenced.wav)


Thats stupid. It would just give you a disadvantage. He means for the standard cs2d.
