Hiya all, i was thinking that this was a cool question, a few map-makers will probably get some hints here

Fro me it is the Cavern Terrain, I love Rope, and mastered it easily, thanks to being a total 'dark-sde freak' in worms

A very interesting pool indeed but people seem to like maps with open terrain a lot since most of them are noobs that request "all weapons" "falling does not end turn" "300 HP" etc.
But I personally like flying islands since there are a lot of ways to kill your enemies (doping dynamites from above or shooting with mortar from beneath) its also pretty cool to navigate since you need to jump/build your way from island to island.
As a level designer its very important to make the map look good without making it to easy to score instant kills also its important to make it so that a competent player will feel reworded for reaching some spots or using the terrain to his advantage.

i dont like falling dmg end turn because i dont know where i will recieve fcking dmg :q
If DC will post how much pixels need to fall dmg, it would be great

Pixels until fall damage? Hmm, probably over 30-50, would give you fall damage. Based on experience of falling off things ( see thread "What is the most painful thing you have ever done", and look for the thing where i jumped out of a window ), it should be around that. not sure tho

EDIT: @Mumu: I agree with you A LOT i hate boring old noob maps, where you just shoot random things in an instagib match and then you just like "omg i am THE PRO", but they really just used that Car thingy to completely destry everything.

LoL that is a poor excuse for using "falling does not end turn" option there are a lot of ways to counter fall damage and no falling dmg makes the game way 2 easy ...

Also, there is a small bug, when fall dmg + dont e.t. you sometimes can be double-damaged and turn would end :q

And i still hope i'll get how much pixels need to dmg

try putting "nmeasuring pixels " in a map, and then see how many it takes to hurt yourslf, it aint hard.
