Hey guys. I just found an interesting program called

VirtualBox. It apparently lets you run other operating systems in your own (for example: Linux in Windows and vice-versa).

I'm downloading it to see how it works. Have any of you tried it or at least heard about it? What do you think?

I used it for a while to compile Linux versions of my games. pretty useful for everyone who needs additional OSs for some reason and doesn't want to have the risk to somehow damage/influence the main OS installation.

also useful for trying a new OSs

I personally use it quite a lot. It's much smaller than VMware and doesn't cost anything, so IMHO it rocks.

I was using it to run Windows95 games (these didn't work for vista or DOS o_O) Cool thing!

I tried running a Windows ME, it worked but I was disappointed cause I thought ME would look alot better (from what I remember it) I must've gotten a wrong version, lol. VirtualBox is useful only to people that really need it for testing certain things I wouldn't really use it for anything else as I already got a OS, none the less it's a great idea this VirtualBox thing aswell as the VMware.
