it is possible to change the death notice message using Lua and cs2d cmd customkill but you can't rename the weapons elsewhere without hacking/changing the binary which is nonsense and actually not permitted.

No. That's another kind of menu made with lua. You can change the button name, but you could only change the weapon name already said by Nemesis with HEX editing.
@CrazyKevin, dude. It's possible, Refresh did it. But it's hard.

and i'm working on 'reviving' my *OLD* Zombie nation 2d map :o! ... I'm trying to basicly make a tiny total conversion mod... starting with the Gfx/sfx
