While in Killing Floor is a survival type in only one map...
I like killing floor because it has more weapons, more characters and if you play alone (offline) you will get in panic when theres a big horde of zombies, you can also use iron sights, left 4 dead aiming system is like cs one, also the killing floor creators are always updating it. The graphics are good not awesome but good.

It's not much of a big difference, they generally have the same amount of monsters each.
They both do a good job of being a survival horror as it is anyway. If anything, I'd say they're both equal.
