Can someone explain to me why whenever I'm playing any game on my xbox 360 the fps starts to drop and then the game is too slow =/

a console musnt be slow for a game, i think so that you hardware has an error D:<

Xbox 360's are naturally slow, crappy consoles. If you don't want lag, get a PS3.

not naturally. have my old xbox in the living room for a while now and it still runs aswell as my new one.

he probably has a hardware error. or something. or his xbox is just really old.

Lol, my graphics cards ( I run a dual-gfx rig ) have more transistors in it than in an XBOX360 and a PS3 put together.

EDIT: Btw, the problem is unsolvable. If your XBOX is packing up then either buy a new one or get it repaired. The drop in FPS is a real show to what money you spend on these consoles.

Actualy x360 and ps3 are allmost 100% identical exept the aperance, so whatever the older x360 if there is dust inside (aswell as ps3) it may cause slow down, or the termo paste is worn off, or as the others said hardware error, i recoment returning your x360 and buy the new one for 75% discount (atleast here in spain its like that)
