You forgot to post a face picture.
This isn't 4chan, you idiots, so stop trying to >greentext shit or use mfw or tfw. You look retarded.

On-topic: It varies from human to human. Some can't see the difference past 24 fps, some can see the difference with 100 fps.
In games it's a bit different, because they don't use motion blur, every frame is played instead. Pause a movie and pause a game: the movie screen will be blurry and the game screen will be not (depends on what you were doing though).
But honestly, no need for it to be above 50 fps.

no need, but it would make the game a bit better and if it's not too much work to implement it there really is no reason why not

please make it 30 instead, xbox 360 runs at 30 so cs2d should run at 29( -1 frame for 1 sec cs2d lag every 30 sec.)

Flawless logic.

@user FlooD: I guess it won't hurt it. But it's a low-res 2D game, I don't think it'll make it any better.

This has been discussed several times already.

The reason for 50 FPS is:
• It's enough to let the game be smooth
• It's a nice value which is easy to handle
• Overall it's easier to simply limit the FPS
• I didn't change it yet because several things (visual effects) in CS2D are still programmed in a bad way so they are locked to the FPS (some parts of the code are nearly 10 years old)

I may change this if I feel like doing it.
