You should learn scripting first.

Editing is not hard. It ,of course, depends on what you want to edit.
If you want to learn Lua itself then get a tutor or read some tutorials, but if you want to edit a script then usually it's just values that you're going to change. There are few steps in order to change them :
Select the part you want to change with mouse. Delete it. Write in new value. You're done.Not really hard if you understand what command (assuming you want to change basic commands like speed/health/armor/items and alike)

Assuming that you want to do something with Lua even without knowing which editor to use is really bad.

U can edit together in 1 exe file.
2. Double-click.
3. Edit it.
4. Say it's yours.
